𝐘/𝐍 𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐏 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆, pressing skip on her playlist. She hummed along to the music, glancing over to where Todoroki was reading at her desk. Suddenly Todoroki closed his book, spinning to face his friend.
"Y/N...why aren't you taking your pills?"
Y/N chuckled, rolling over on the bed. "What're you talking about?" Todoroki shook his head, "You're not taking your pills. Why?" Y/N's eyes dimmed, her brows drawing.
"What's the point? We all die anyway."
Todoroki shook his head again, pursing his lips. "But I don't want you to die." He mumbled, his eyes turned to the ground. Y/N perked up, her eyes widening.
"We're friends so why don't you want to live? Am I not enough? What about your parents? Even Laura and Bakugou?" The male bit his lip, the lump in his throat growing. "Why-"
"Shoto." Y/N sat up, her brows furrowed. "You're enough." She assured, Todoroki looking up. "But you need to be prepared," She sighed, "I'm gonna die, whether I take my pills or not. I don't want to hurt you so you need to be prepared for the day I won't be here anymore."
Todoroki frowned, Y/N giving a gentle smile. "Here I have an idea." She stood, swiping her phone off the desk. She unlocked it, opening the camera app, she pressed record, smiling to the frame.
"Alrighty, I'm Y/N and this is Shoto Todoroki, my best friend." She flipped the camera to him, Todoroki tilting his head.
Y/N laughed, turning the camera back to herself. "Yeah that's my best friend, anyway, Shoto was upset today because I told him I was gonna die." Todoroki frowned, Y/N continuing.
"Thing is, everyone dies so it's not like I have a choice. I'm just gonna die sooner than everyone else." She gave a sad smile, taking a seat beside Todoroki and setting up the camera to show them both.
"So there's a few things I want you to promise me." She turned to him. "First, take care of Yuki and Yoru for me, please. Second, don't look in my sketch book until I'm gone. And third, live your best life after I die! For both of us!"
Y/N held out her pinky, smiling to her friend. "Promise?"
Todoroki gulped down the lump in his throat, taking her pinky with his. "Yeah, I promise."
"Perfect!" Y/N smiled, turning to the camera. "I'll hold you to it! Now, every time we're together I'll record something for you to remember me." She cheered.
Todoroki nodded, a small smile pulling at his lips. "Thanks." Y/N nodded, smiling.
