You looked at the window like it was nothing until he looked back. You smiled at him like that wasn't just the most awkward thing incoherent whole world! This cute boy who you had been looking at for like 5 mins stared back at you-

I just was looking out of my window realising new people had moved in, I mean my mom told me but I hadn't seen them arrive, how did they even come here?!? The girl who I watched from the window for the past hour now without her looking didn't really look British, she low-key looked amarican but hey who am I to judge she was way prettier then I could ever dream of being. Omg this can't be happening I can't have a crush on my neighbour who just moved in tonight, or this morning, or when ever they came that would be pretty fucked up, and if I'm being honest I feel like Tommy would be very mad if he heard I had a crush on a American girl😃

After he looked away and I saw his face he looked even prettier then I thought he would be.. damn I might be crushing on my neighbour

"Same day but about 2pm"

I was just unpacking some more when I heard my mom call my name
"Y/NNN!!!! VISTORS"
She yelled as I came downstairs I saw this pretty girl, she looked about 13years old and very nice and I woman who looked like the girls mom.
"Hi I'm lani!" The girl says
"Y/n" I saw with a smile on my face
Lani? I've never heard of that name before but it was a really pretty name!
" hi y/n I'm lani her mom and I would prefer you to call me ms. Smith, I'm your new neighbour we live right across the street
So she's the cute boys mom?!?

"Cool!" I said and my mom started talking to ms. Smith,
"How are you?" I said to lani trying to start a conversation
"Oh I'm good! You?"
"I'm amazing acually! Yesterday I felt really numb but I feel fine now!!"
"That's amazing to hear but why did you move here because of your accent I can hear your American" she said looking really confused
"Oh me and my mom moved away since my dad divorced my mom, she wanted a new start far away from my dad so we came here!" I replied to her
"Where did you use to live?"
"New York!!"
"Omg that must have been so cool!"
"It really was but I'm also kind of glad we moved away! It was really busy in the streets and everything it was just way to much!" I said trying for her to understand

Just as a finshed my sentence she got a notification on her phone

"Toby:]"

HEY, I just got home from Tommy where the hell are you and mom?

Oh where at the new neighbours!

"Who was that?" I said questioning
"Oh just my brother he's coming I guess haha" she replied with
