John was patrolling the area as the other constables were doing the same. John looked at the time again while walking down the colorful street the time read 2:30pm one willie a woman by the name mary offered a refreshing drink during his portalling hours and they started talking about how nice the day was, until she brought the rumors up "Have you heard the rumors about there being a downer in the constabulary's" mary said sounding concerned and frightened "well Bevan said something about that to the men and will have a doctor come in the station at 5pm" John said sounding very optimistic and confident about it "if we do have a downer in our station than we'll give them a good thrashing and send him on his marry way" Mary looked relaxed and delighted at the fact that doctor will come to the station"they'll find a way to cure this downer and get rid of that idiotic frown they always have"John looked at Mary and she replied with "that's splendid I guess I'll be on my way now cheerio" John looked up and down at her as she walked away and said "have you taken you're joy" Mary turned around and took a pill from her pocket and drank it smiling "yes I have" she walked away and started humming a song to her self. John nodded and tipped his helmet to her as she walked down the street. John took more BlackBerry joy than he usually does in a day but that's because he wanted to keep his mind clear and off the clouds.
Time skip
John walked to the station as his patroll was coming to an end, the time read 4:00 when he walked into the station he was tired now because a wastrel that had gotten into the village and started causing problems for him and the other to men that were patrolling the same area the garden district is next to the village so many of the downers come there to cause problems and sneak around. John walked over the entrance booth to talk to constable Williams again, Williams was in front of the booth and was fixing papers and having chocoral to drink "well it ain't John I can see you're right as rain" Williams said jokenly. John sighed and felt his pocket for his blackberry joy "those damn downers have caused a ruckus in the town putting a stop to the easy day I was planning to have" John said finding his bottle of joy only to see it empty "may I have a blackberry joy please mine ran out" he said looking at the bottle with displeasure. Williams looked at John and crossed his arms then frowned. "Well at least you don't look down yet here" Williams said as he handed a joy pill to him John took the pill and drank it the world felt brighter now and the frustration he felt went away "better" John looked at Williams and smiled "better". As John exited the front desk and headed to his locker he looked around to see half of the constabulary officers in the building, John was wondering why they were still here after they had clocked out he shrugged it off and put his baton and helmet in his locker and closed it he went where the rest of the Bobbies were located in the building and watched uncle jack in the lobby area they had. About an hour later John heard a whistle go off and that got him out of his dozed off state. John and other Constables ran into a straight line and stayed quiet Bevan had a doctor with him. John did self check up and felt woozy but brushed it off he also felt like he was remembering something but decided to take a rain check on it. "Good evening officers I'm Doctor Harold Ridgwell I'll be checking up on all of you to see if any of you have suspicious behavior or have been off your joy I can already smell it" Harold said with a grin forming as he chuckled "we'll start from the beginning of the line and end GOT THAT" Bevan yelled out as he walked next to doctor Harold, the bobbies jumped up and so did John he felt a little sad but again thought nothing of it.
