"You going to that stupid country club thing tonight?" Cameron asked, leaning slightly towards Nash so Mrs. Stevens, the English teacher, couldn't hear them.

Nash groaned, "I forgot about that. I have to, my Mom's making me." Cameron laughed, "Same, hopefully there's some new people, not just those old farts." Nash chuckled as the bell rang.

"Boys, next time pay attention so you can remember what lines to go over," Mrs. Stevens smiled as they walked past her desk.

Nash nodded shyly and the two boys walked towards their lockers.

The school they attend is a very large private school. Luckily they weren't required to wear uniforms.

"Finally the days over. I have to go home and get ready for that stupid thing tonight, see you there!" Cameron yelled as he ran down the hall.

Nash sighed, dragging himself towards his locker. He fumbled with his combination, having to enter it twice before successfully opening it and putting away his large books.

He huffed and slipped his backpack over his shoulder, walking towards the front of the school.

His Mom had to work today before the country club thing so that meant he had to walk home.

Nash walked the whole mile between his house and the school, he would've drove himself but his Mom wouldn't let him, claiming it was too dangerous.

Once Nash arrived home he was tired and wanted to lay down before his Mom made him get up, but things didn't always go his way.

"Nash! Help me! Skylynn won't take a nap and Moms gonna be pissed if she finds out she didn't." Hayes pleaded, mentally begging Nash to put the crazy child to sleep.

The older boy nodded reluctantly as his brother sighed in relief and went upstairs, probably going to sleep.

"C'mere Sky, let's go to bed." Nash said, trying to pick up his half sister. The feisty blonde girl squealed and wiggled out of Nash's grip, running into the family's large kitchen.

Nash groaned and began to chase after her. Weaving through the counters and the island.

The small girl giggled and ran into the dining room, hiding behind a chair.

"I know you're hiding." Nash whispered in a sing song voice. He jumped from his place and wrapped his arms around Skylynn's waist.

She laughed and struggled to get out of his grip, slowly tiring herself out. Nash chuckled and carried his sister to her bright pink room.

He jumped onto her bed, careful not to hurt her, and moved the blankets down, tucking her in.

The small child yawned and fought go keep her eyes open, "Nash I'm not tired."

He smiled, "Yeah, I know, but you gotta take a nap so mom won't be crabby before we go to dinner." Nash teased and she laughed, yawning again.

Her eyes soon fluttered shut and she snuggled into her pink bed. Nash kissed her forehead and walked out of the room making sure Skylynn's night light was on before turning off the lights.

He walked quietly past Hayes' room, peeking in to see him little brother watching tv and eating chips. Nash rolled his eyes and went to his room, crawling under his blue blanket drifting off to sleep.

"Hamilton Nash Grier! You march your little booty out here and brush your teeth, 1 hour till we gotta go!" The Grier's mom, Elizabeth, yelled.

Nash mumbled a weak protest and groaned, knowing his mom would pull him out of bed if he didn't get up himself.

The blue eyed boy sat up groggily, rubbing his heavy eyes and yawned. Nash stood up and walked to his door, hearing Skylynn giggling and his mom talking, no Hayes.
