chapter 7

The thought that he might get rejected was eating Hyunjin alive but he knew that he had to confess sooner or later because he knew he needed to get it out of his chest and make his feelings known to the other, he decided that enough was enough today he would ask Felix out on one of their walks and tell him then. He walked towards the boys room feeling confident and sure about waht he wanted to do, he knocked on the door and waited for a reply. He heard shuffling and the sound of the door opening to reveal a sleepy looking Felix 

Felix: hey hyunjin what are you doing here? its almost midnight is something the matter? are you ok? Felix was asking many questions without taking a break and when he ws finished he was panting. Hyunjin smiled at the sight before him, he found the other so adorable and and that made him even more sure about what he was doing 

Hyunjin:no no everything is fine and sorry for waking you up i was just wondering if you wanted to join me for a walk I'm sorry for asking you to go out with me in such a late hour but I have something very important to tell you and I can't really keep it in anymore so yeah haha sorry if the reason is stupid but if you dont want to thats fine we could gotomorrow or whenever you want.

Felix: yeah sure we can go tomorrow morning since its already late and chan will probably kill me if I don't do well in practice tomorrow and we don't want thaty now do we?

Hyunjin laughed at what the other said and they both agreed to meet tomorrow morning to go for a cup of coffee and a walk near the dorm. Hyunjin was very excited and nervous at the same time bcause in a few hours he would finally confess to the boy he loved for a very long time and finally relax. He walked back to his room not being able to stop smiling, he layed on his bed sighing happily and contently with how well everything was going between him and Felix, they started as bandmates became friends and now they were probably going to start a new relationshp with eachother, something more than the friendship that they already have, something greater. He promised to himself that even if the other rejected him (belive me he won't) he would still love the other dearly even as a friend. And with these thoughts he went to bed to sleep because a very important day was waiting for him.

The next morning Felix ( yup was not expecting that were you)woke up very early not that he could sleep all night, because he felt excited about his"date" with Hyunjin but at the same time he felt curious about what the older wanted to tell him. He hopped out of bed and got dressed in the outfit he picked out the night before (he totally didn't wake up Jisung and Jeongin to help him find an outfit to wear) and went to the kitchen where he found Chan eatting breakfast

Chan: wow someone woke up feeling energised. I see you're dressed to go out mind if I ask where you are going?

Felix; oh! good morning yeah I am a boit excited cause Hyunjin and I will go out to grab a coffee and take a walk

Chan: So that's why you're all dressed up going on a date huh? Chan smirked when he saw Felixs flushed expression. Felix sat down and quietly ate his breakfast before glancing at his watch just to realize that he had to go meet Hyunjin outside of his room he said goodbye to Chan and quickly left the table and walked to Hyunjin's room.

When he arived he took a deep breath and knocked on the others door. He waited for a few seconds and then he heard Hyunjin opening the door and going out of the room. He was also dressed very nice and kinda warm since it was autumn and none of them wanted to get cold.

Hyunjin: good morning Felix!, sorry were you waiting long?

Felix: no no don't worry I came just a few seconds too actually so no need to worry. he smiled and Hynjin smiled back a him. he still couldn't belive that he was going on a date with Hyunjin, he felt very excited and having the boy he loved next to him felt surreal and magical at the same time. He was really looking forward to what Hyunjin had to tell him that he didn't even hear him call his name 

Hyunjin:uhhh Felix, is everyhting ok? did you hear what I said? Hyunjin asked him while laghing softly

Felix: omg i'm so sorry i didn't hear you can you please repeat what you said? he said feeling embarassed about not listening.

Hyunjin smiled softly at the younger boy beside him. Hyunjin: yeah sure i asked you where do you want to go

Felix: hmm.. why don't we go to the park close to the dorm or even better why don't we go to that little cliff where you can see the whole city? it will be quiter and you'll be able to tell me what you wanted ok?

Hyunjin: yeah that seems like a good idea but why don't we go and grab a coffee on the way there first?

Felix: yeah shall we go?

The two satrted walking towards a cafe  to get their drinks and after a while they finally reached their destination. The wind was blowing softly making the boys hair flow with it, they were looking at the incredible view that was in front of them, well Hyunjin was mainly looking at the boy beside him feeling anxious but confident at the same time about finally confessing.

Felix: so what did you want to tell me?

Hyunjin: well it is not as easy to say because it is not something you will hear me say often it's just that it is the first time something like this has happened to me and i don't really know how you are gonna react when i tell you, to be honest you might even find it weird and not want to talk to me anymore.

Felix: Hyunjin what are you trying to tell me? you are scaring me right now is everything ok? whatever it is i'll be always here for you so please tell me what do you mean by all of this? 

Hyunjin: ok so first of all i don't want to make things akward between us and please don't get mad at me but all i am trying to say is that i care a lot for you and not only as a friend or a bandmate but as something more,something deeper than friendship. Heck! I love you Lee Felix! i love you so much that it hurts, i love you so much that i get jealous of the other members when they are so close to you because i want to be the only one that you are the closest to.

Felix looked at Hyujin in shock, this was finally happening. He would be able to freely express his feelings for the other without fearng rejection. He felt thimself tearing up touched by the older boys words of affection he was finally sure now he loved Hyunjin more than anything and he felt the same, Jeongin was right, he cursed himself mentaly for not noticing sooner, if he had noticed his behaviour sooner all of what happened would have been prevented.

Felix:Hyunjin I feel the same way, all this time i thought that you didn't like me and that if i tried to confess to you i'd be rejected but now that i know that you feel the same for me i don't have to hide my feelings for you either. I love you too Hwang Hyunjin.
