(Steve woke up in a destroyed house.)
Steve: Where am I?
(Steve goes outside to see the destruction of oak village.)
Steve: Alex! Leo! What's going on?!
(Steve sees monsters an army of monsters cheering for their leader, Erebus, king of the Endermen.)
Steve: Erebus? But I defeated him!
(Erebus appears behind Steve.)
Erebus: You fool.
(Steve turns around, scared.)
Erebus: You think you can defeat me? I always come back!
Steve: Liar!
(Erebus pins down Steve and tries to eat him. That is until a bright light was shun. Scaring off Erebus.)
???: Steve!
Steve: Who are you?
???: Come to me.
Steve: I'm trying I'm here!
???: Steve...
(Then in that moment he saw a man with a beard and top hat.)
(Steve woke up from yet another bad dream.)
Steve: Phew. Everything is still normal.
(He saw his wolf, Elias, sleeping soundly.)
Steve: At least you're okay.
(Steve pets his wolf and walks out of his room.)
(Transitions to Alex with a sketchboard and marker.)
Alex: Okay, now describe this man.
Steve: He's tall. Long black beard and top hat.
(Alex drew a well drawn picture of what Steve was talking about.)
Alex: Is this him?
Steve: Yes.
Leo: He looks familiar. Wait, it's Notch!
Steve: Who's Notch?
Grandma Anna: Oh dear! You don't know who he is?
Alex: He's our God. He gave us life to this world.
Leo: You're telling us you had a dream and saw this guy?!
Steve: Yeah, I don't know why though. I must have a connection to him.
Grandma Anna: Well, we can talk about it later, we have to get going.
Steve: Where to?
Alex: It's Shabbat. We go to church to worship our lord, Notch.
Grandma Anna: However, we do need someone to look after the pets while we're gone.
Steve: I'll do it.
Alex: But don't you wanna learn more about Notch at our church.
Steve: I'll be fine.
Grandma Anna: Alright, take care. And make sure to feed Alfred wheat and carrots.
Steve: Will do.
(So while Alex, Leo and Grandma Anna went to church, Steve decides to head to the library.)
Steve: Alright, don't tell Alex, Leo or Anna where we are.
(Steve ties Elias and Alfred on a leash and goes inside the library.)
Steve: Excuse me, do you know where there are any Notch books?
Librarian: Sure. It's in the N section.
Steve: Ah, of course.
(Steve looks at all the books about Notch but not a single one had anything that would connect to him.)
(Transitions to the church where the choir finished singing. The priest came up to the podium.)
Priest: We have some unsettling news. Villages have been burned down for unknown reasons. I ask everyone to pray for any survivors.
Alex: (Whispered) We should investigate these villages.
Leo: (Whispered) Good idea.
Grandma Anna: (Whispered) After church you two.
(After church, Alex, Leo and Grandma Anna went home to see Steve, Elias and Alfred absent.)
Alex: Where's Steve?
Leo: I bet he was kidnapped!
Grandma Anna: Nonsense, he must've walked his wolf and Alfred. I'll go look for him. You two plan ahead for the expedition.
Alex: Okay, Grandma.
(Grandma Anna looked around and saw Elias and Alfred tied to a pole near the library.)
Grandma Anna: Oh my! You poor things! Where's Steve?
(Grandma Anna goes inside to see Steve making a mess with lots of books.)
Grandma Anna: Steve? What are you doing here?
Steve: I was looking for books on Notch.
Grandma Anna: Well you were supposed to keep an eye on the pets.
Steve: I'm sorry. I've just been busy trying to figure out who I am, and why am I connected to Notch.
(Grandma Anna then puts a reassuring hand on Steve.)
Grandma Anna: I'm sure you'll one day figure it out.
Steve: I hope.
Grandma Anna: Anyways, you better head home. There have been reports of villages burned down and I think we need Team Steve to investigate.
Steve: Thanks for telling me.
Grandma Anna: You're welcome.
(Steve left the library while Grandma Anna looked at the book he dropped.)
Grandma Anna: Hmm, Notch...
(Steve returned home.)
Alex: There you are!
Leo: I was worried about Alfred!
Steve: I'm sorry guys, I was just doing some reading at the library.
Alex: Okay, well, we need to get going.
Steve: Don't worry, your Grandma told me everything.
Alex: Good.
(The trio packed their things and were ready to head out with their pets.)
(Grandma Anna hugged her grandchildren.)
Grandma Anna: I pray to Notch that my children are okay.
Alex: Okay Grandma you can let go.
Grandma Anna: Sorry, anyways, good luck.
Alex: Will do.
(The trio and their pets begin their walk.)
(Soon sunset and decided to camp for the night and eat some steak.)
Alex: Hey Steve. You said you were doing some reading. Were you looking into Notch?
Steve: Okay, yes. It's just weird. These dreams always happen all the time. I don't know why.
Leo: Well, how about we just rest and not think about these awful dreams.
Steve: I guess you're right.
(The next morning came. The faced off two spiders and headed straight to town.)
Alex: We're here!
(They looked around and saw the town in ruins.)
