(Steve, Alex, Leo, Elias and Alfred entered the abandoned village.)
Steve: What happened here?
Alex: Apparently villages here were destroyed.
Leo: We should've tagged Elsa along with us, maybe she wouldn't mind helping us.
Alex: You sure that isn't an excuse to just make out with her.
Leo: No!
Steve: Come to think of it, when was the last time you two got to speak to each other?
Leo: At the battle for Spruce Village...
Alex: Well, it's too late to turn back now.
(Steve then noticed a golden sword. He picked it up and placed it in his inventory.)
Leo: Any luck finding anything?!
Steve: I found a Golden Sword, someone must've dropped it.
(Alex notices a bunker.)
Alex: Guys! I found something!
Leo: A bunker?
Steve: That's used for people to evacuate in.
Alex: That must mean there's villagers inside!
Leo: Then let's go inside.
Steve: I don't know guys, something about this place feels strange.
Alex: Of course it is, it's been destroyed.
Leo: Now, come on!
Steve: Fine...
(The trio and the pets head down the bunker to see a bunch of frightened villagers.)
Steve: Um, hello.
Plant Villager: Strangers!
Alex: We're not strangers! We're here to help you.
Blacksmith Villager: Wait a minute! It's Team Steve, the heroes that defeated Erebus back in Spruce Village!
(Then cheers erupted the Bunker.)
Leo: Can someone please tell us what's going on?!
Lars: Forgive us for the excitement, I am Lars Anderrson. Chief of this village. This is my wife, Maria and my daughter, Eva.
Steve: What happened to your village?
Lars: It was under attack by monsters and many more.
Alex: Many more?
Lars: Nether creatures.
Leo: What?!
Lars: They destroyed our town. We evacuated as many people as we could.
Steve: How do you know about us?
Lars: Word spread fast about your victory in Spruce Village. We are so grateful that you are here. Will you help us defeat Malacoda, King of the Nether?
