Mystery Man ~ IWAOI

Chapter 1

Every day. At 6:30 am he would walk in. The mysterious man : Tan, muscular, and spikey hair.

"He is an 11/10" Oikawa says.

Oikawa has been working at Grand Coffee for 7 months now. He loves his coworkers and job even though his shifts are so early in the day.

"Nah I give a solid 7/10" says a voice coming out of the back room. "Tch, You're biased because you have a boyfriend Suga" Oikawa groaned as he leaned over on the counter. "Yeah yeah just hurry up and make his coffee" Suga said as he walked over to make a coffee from a previous order. The mysterious man would always get a medium americano with as little talking as possible. "Aye aye mr. refreshing-kun"

"A medium americano to-go?" Oikawa asks. The man just nodded his head in agreement. Who would have thought that such a small gesture could make Oikawa's heart flutter.

"Sugaaa"

"What do you want Oikawaaaa"

"Im boredddd"

"Well then you should clean the machines in the back"

"Noooo"

They both glanced over to the old unused machines and shuddered. "Well there's not much I can do for you Oiks, It's not my fault your favorite customer already.. oh sorry hold on Daichi is calling me." Oikawa continued to groan as Suga walked into the back room in order to not disturb anyone. By the look on Suga's face Oikawa could tell that something was wrong. "Hey sorry but could you close up the shop for me later? Daichi called saying that Spice threw up and that he is taking her to the vet right now."

Spice is Suga and Daichi's child. Well not actually but is their 5 month old kitten who loves getting into trouble. "Of course Suga anything for you! Hope Spice feels better!" "Thanks Oiks I will make it up to you I promise" Suga shouted as he ran out the door.

Oikawa hates closing the shop alone, but he would do anything for his closest friend Suga. Suga was the one who actually recommended and gave this job to him. They met in highschool, as they were on opposing volleyball teams. They always hated each other until they graduated and ran into each other at some random party. I guess when they were drunk they forgot they were rivals and actually got along very well. Ever since then they have been inseparable. Daichi is Suga's loving boyfriend. They were on the same volleyball team and have been dating since their first year in highschool. Suga owns the coffee shop and Daichi is a police officer. They are the absolute perfect couple.

Oikawa has always been jealous. Oikawa has always been popular during his school years and always had fan girls surrounding him at all times. He even still has fangirls since he is an upcoming model. He is planning on quitting his job once he is stable enough from just his modelling career alone. The only tough part about having all these fangirls is never being able to have actual relationships. Everyone thinks that he is either out of their league (which they are probably right) or don't want to put up with all of the fan girls surrounding him. The fan girls do bring good business to the coffee shop and are supportive at least. The main problem about the fan girls is that nobody other than his close friends know that he likes men. That is the one reason he has never been able to have a boyfriend.

After a long day of work it was finally time to close. The coffee shop usually closes at 6pm, but since Oikawa was alone and there haven't been any customers for the last 2 hours, he decided to close an hour early. He made sure to clean, put away, and lock everything up. He was just about to leave but then he forgot his house keys on the counter. He quickly rushed back in, grabbed them, and left the shop.

As he walked to his house he began thinking about the mysterious man at the coffee shop. He always had a business suit on, so he must go to work after getting his coffee. He never made much eye contact, so he must either have a shy personality or just doesn't like small talk. Oikawa has wanted to talk to this man ever since the man started buying coffee at the shop. Oikawa had never gotten a chance to talk though, because of how the other man acted.

I wonder if he notices me as much as I notice him... Oikawa thought to himself as he arrived at his apartment. The rest of the day he decided to watch his favorite alien movie series and then go to bed.
