"Hey y/n" Robyn says as I open my eyes. I try to rub my eye but my arms are in restraints. I sigh.
I've been held captive by her family for about a week now and I still manage to forget I'm here every single morning. I hate waking up strapped to the bed. But I'm glad to be out of that shitty royal home. They think because I'll be 18 in two weeks that I need to start preparing to be "the queen". The problem is that I don't wanna be the queen. I don't even wanna be a royal member. Yea everyone respects you and I have a lot of money, but that stuff gets old. People usually don't talk to me cause they're scared or they don't like my family. And when they do talk to me it's usually for popularity and publicity. Aside from that, it puts you in situations that normal people don't go through. Situations like these.
Robyn snaps her fingers in my face.
"Did you hear me?" My arms are free.
"No. What'd you say" I say rubbing my wrists to soothe the irritation.
"You hungry?" she asks. I shrug.
"Not really" I say, lying. I'm starving. I just don't want her to poison my food. She's never done anything to make me think she would but, just to be safe. It's really not a far stretch. I mean her father is the one that kidnapped me. Their family is my family's biggest rivals and after my father killed his wife, he wanted revenge. So he took me.
"You're lying" she says after looking me in the eyes for a while.
"No I'm not" I say, kind of nervously. My stomach growls. As if it was calling me out on my bluff. I wrap my arms around it, desperately trying to silence it.
"I think you are" she says, looking from me to my stomach. She chuckles and walks out. I rub my stomach in attempts to ease the discomfort. I allow myself to get lost in my thoughts.

Shortly after, I hear Robyn re-enter the cellar with a big tray. On that tray was 2 cups of orange juice, and two plates with grilled cheeses on them. The smell, traveling through the air, hits my nose. Smells so good. I feel my stomach bubble again, begging me to just eat. She sets down both the plates and picks hers up. I watch her take a bite. As hungry as I was, I was still afraid of being poisoned.
"I promise I didn't do anything to the food. See watch" she grabs my sandwich and takes a bite. She smiles and puts it back down. My heart flutters. She didn't smile often. But when she did it was a beautiful sight. I smile back, involuntarily, but I catch myself and look down at my plate. Reluctantly, I pick my sandwich up and bite it. I'm not sure if it's cause I hadn't eaten since yesterday, which was only cause Robyn snuck me some leftovers from their family dinner, or what but that was undoubtedly the best grilled cheese I had ever tasted.
"Mmmm" I moaned, as I scarfed down the rest of the sandwich. I didn't mean to eat it so quickly, I was just so hungry.
"Good right? Man Jeffery really knows how to make a grilled cheese"
