"Okay class, moving on to the next area!" I said a bit louder and watched the teenagers moving forward ,past the pictures hanging on the walls.
Everyone except one.
"Sunghoon?" The boy slightly flinched hearing my voice and looked behind him. I smiled softly and laid my hand on his shoulder.
"Why don't you join the other students?" I asked and he looked back in front of him."The picture reminds me of something but I can't tell what.." he whispered and I followed his gaze. My smile vanished slowly as I laid eyes on the little Polaroid picture hanging in front of Sunghoon.
I cleared my throat and gripped a bit tighter into his shoulder.
"Let's sit a while down, shall we?" I asked and he nodded, following me to the little sofas in front of the Polaroid picture."Would you like to know it's story?" I asked and gained his full attention.
He nodded fast and turned a bit more towards me."Well.. it started like most stories do. It was a sunny day..."
"Make sure you're back before dinner Sunoo baby"
The blonde boy politely nodded and stepped out of the house. The fresh air caused his lips to form into a soft smile as he took out his new camera. There was no way he would wait any longer to test it out, so he excitedly ran towards the center of Seoul. Since there usually are a lot of pigeons flying around he thought it would be a great spot to take his first Polaroid picture with his new camera.
"Excuse me young man, would you like a pair of-"
"I-I'm sorry Sir, I'm in a rush" the young boy politely declined one of the street people's offer and stepped faster towards the bridge. As he finally arrived his smile couldn't grow any bigger. The high buildings, the smaller trees in between them, the huge bridge throwing beautiful shaped shadows on the street. Everything was absolutely perfect to take the best photos, making the boy chuckle satisfied and take out his camera. His gaze fell on one of the pigeons hopping around right in front of him, making him slowly get on his knees. Pigeons in Korea just really don't fear anything.
"Pretty bird.." he whispered smiling and held the camera in front of his face.
But just as he wanted to take his very first picture of the animal something hard hit his shoulder, making him fall to the side. All he heard was a loud noise meanwhile the next thing he felt was the hard ground against his head.
The blonde boy groaned in pain as he opened his eyes, looking around him.
Even tho his eyes fell in another blond boy, who looked like was the reason Sunoo fell down, his gaze suddenly fell on a man laying on the ground a bit further away."What did you-" Sunoo pushed the other blonde boy, who was trying to stand up, down on the ground again and ran towards the victim.
Out of reflex he checked the man's pulse but started panicking as he couldn't feel anything. The man visibly wasn't breathing anymore and didn't reacted to anything Sunoo could possibly do. He was about to call the ambulance, as the other blonde boy suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled him with him.
"What are you doing, we have to help hi-"
"Shut up!" The unknown boy almost yelled at Sunoo, making him flinch.
The hand around his arm started to lose up and he finally let go off him as both of them arrived in a less populated street.
Sunoo stepped further away from the other one and glared at him.
"Who are you?!"
"My name is Riki Nishimura" he spoke and raised his eyebrows.
"You could just thank me instead of yelling, you punk."
Sunoo started to feel confused. Thank him? Why would he have to thank him?
Riki saw that confused look of his and laughed.
"I saved your life boy, are you blind?" He smirked at Sunoo and he started to realize.
The man who visibly got shot was standing behind him. If it weren't for Riki he would have been shot instead. But it also means that it was a planned murder and Riki 100% knew about it.
"I don't talk to killers." Sunoo turned around and wanted to step away but his arm got grabbed again.
"Riki let go off me-" his eyes widened as he turned around and saw that this time it wasn't Riki who held his arm. It was a visibly older boy, having a tight grip around his arm, looking him straight in the eyes.
His presence released some sort of fear in Sunoo, he obviously was someone important since Riki kept his gaze in the ground and was nervously playing with his fingers.
"I guess we'll have a guest for dinner today" he spoke and smirked slightly.
