Chapter 006: arrival

MAX POV:

           Today is the day, Miles is coming to Hawkins, i would see him tomorrow but it still scares me. Im walking back and fourth not knowing what to do. Honestly my heart starts poundering. I dont know why, its just Miles, right? But no, he's a murderer. Im scared that once he got here he will probably kill one of us, or maybe even two? Or maybe all of us. Ugh why cant just this be over. But he will probably wont do that right? I mean as far as i know he has a little sister, but that doesn't change the fact he killed a person infront of me. Does his sister even know about this? Why am i worrying about his little sister too?

          I've been thinking too much, i took a breath and try to calm my self down. I decided to go to park since its the most relaxing place i know here in Hawkins. I grab my jacket since its a little bit cold outside and walk to the park. Luckily there's no one in the park yet, i sat on a bench and stare at the sky and enjoy the soothing sounds that nature makes. After a few minutes later i saw a figure sat right beside me "so, what are you doing here alone?"

         I got shocked and startled. I look who's sitting next to me and

MIKE'S POV:

          Today is the day, im gonna meet my brother that i never knew. Im excited at the same time im so nervous. We decided that the losers will meet Miles tomorrow since its his first day here in Hawkins and we dont want him to make uncomfortable.

          I saw my mom trembling in the kitchen, so i walk up to her to check is she's ok "Mom, are you okay?" I put my hands on her shoulders a sign that im always here for her. "Yeah just, what do you think he will react when see me? Will he think that im a bad mother because i put him in orphanage because i cant take care of him? Would he think that im a bad person?" Mom said with tears in her eyes.

          "We dont know about Miles yet but that little conversation in the telephone, i think he's a nice guy. Dont worry mom, if something happened im would be always right here for you." I give her a comforting smile and she hugged me and i hugged back "oh Mike, i will try my best to protect you guys" he look to me and kiss my forehead.

          "Now we need to get ready, he will be here any minute and i think he dont want to see us crying" i said, she smiled and continued what she was doing in the kitchen and i start cleaning and organizing everything.

           That must be it, i look through the window to check if its really him. And it was, i give my parents a nod and took a breath before i open the door and i saw him, right there. infront of me. he's real. And he looks just like me. My mom walked past me and rushed into him and hug him. I could tell she's crying. "Oh my boy, its nice to finally see you again" my mom said. My dad joined them too while me, Nancy and Holly just stand there not knowing what to do. We are all just shock, because the brother that taken away from us (not really) is right there. "Are you guys not gonna join?" Miles said. Me and nancy look at each each other and join them too while Holly happily joined us and giggled.
