I sat there, staring into space, as more groups began to fill the seats. Sooyun had noticed my worried look.
"Hey, you ok? You look like you've just seen your dog die. Not that you have one though." she laughed at the last part.
"Oh, yeah I'm good. Just a bit nervous, ya know?" I tried playing it off by using the show as an excuse for my nerves.
"Don't worry about it. This may be a new song but it's no different than performing all the other times. We have a few until we perform anyways. Would you like some water?" she handed a bottle of water to me, but I declined.
"No thank you. Are we allowed to go to the restroom?" at this point, I just wanted to walk away from everyone.
"I think so, let me check." Sooyun waved down someone who was standing at the end of our row.
"Excuse me, ma'am? Are we allowed to go to the restroom?" Sooyun asked the woman. The woman looked at me before smiling.
"Well of course. Follow me." she responded, she waved her hand at me, making me follow behind.
She led me to the bathroom then walked away, leaving me at the door. I walked into the bathroom and went up to the sink. I washed my hands as I thought about those messages.
"Could it be Jimin? Maybe he wants to finally explain..? What if it's someone I don't even know... What if it really was Kai and he just hid his phone well?" I exhaled loudly while I turned the water off.
I grabbed some paper towels to dry my hands. In the process, my pocket buzzed, which was where my phone was. I hesitantly lifted the phone to reveal the message.
To my relief Namjoon's name popped up, a great sigh left me. I opened his message and began to read...
"Just wanted to make sure you were alright. I also wanted to wish you good luck. And one more thing, something is up with Jimin. He hasn't been in the best mood today, he's being very distant." the last part made me panic a bit. It's ok, it could be something else... yeah something else.
Before I was able to respond, the lady from before barged in. "Let's go, you're up." she opened the door for me as I bolted out of the bathroom.
