Hahahahaaaa!! I've erased it all!! I will now start the whole thing from the beginning, and basically redo the entire story! >:)

Where's Bucky? Captain America thought frantically. He lay, unable to move, on what felt like a table. His limbs felt weak, and his breaths were shaky, as if he had just ran for hours without stopping. I have to find Bucky!

They had just been on a rocket that had blown up, with Bucky on it. But he couldn't be dead, could he? He had to be alive! The Captain wouldn't be able to forgive himself if the kid died. Life wouldn't be the same without him. Cap had to find him!

He mustered up all the force he could, and opened his eyes. Upon opening them, he saw a figure clothed in red hovering over him. Immediately, Cap reacted on instinct. Raising his arm, which was luckily holding his shield, he knocked the man away, throwing him a couple yards.

"Bucky!" He shouted. He leaped off the table, and, upon seeing a robotic figure to his side, he shoved his hands into the table, pushing it so that it slammed into the thing. It grunted as the Captain did this. "Who are you? Where's Bucky?" Cap demanded.

"Captain," it said in an oddly human voice, "calm down. You're among friends. And, right now..." he grunted as the Captain pushed harder into the table. "Right now...he needs a hospital." The metal clad figure pointed behind Cap.

The American hero turned around to see, on another table, Bucky, lying quite still, blood spotting his battered form, which was mostly covered with a blanket, which had blood starting to seep through.

The Captain gasped. "Bucky!" He rushed to his side. The boy had gashes tearing through his uniform, and slicing through his skin, some reaching bone. The kid's arm was gone! He was in the worst shape he had ever been in. Cap barely heard the low rasp of his breath. He also had sustained burns on his legs and his side. Steve wasn't sure what was keeping him alive, except maybe pure force of will. A long scar spanned from his forehead to his chin, running over his right eye, thankfully not touching it, and instead just cutting the skin around it. His eyes were open in a shocked, and pained stare.

"Bucky..." Cap was shocked himself, his voice a whisper. Bucky seemed to hear him, and turned his head painfully to face Cap.

The boy made a sharp intake of breath. The effort he had to put into just turning his head made Cap gape in horror.

"C-cap..." he said. He was barely able to keep his eyes open.

"Bucky...stay with me, kid." Cap looked on the brink of caving in. He stood next to the table, his hand hovering above Bucky's shoulder, afraid to touch it.

Cap turned back to the awestruck crew behind him. "He needs a hospital. Fast!"

The robot thing replied in a nervous tone. "We're almost to New York. We've already contacted a hospital there."

Cap sighed, but he knew this fight was far from over for Bucky. The kid would be in so much pain if he recovered from this.

Bucky weakly looked up at Cap, and smiled. Wincing, he bit his lip. "Ok, note taken. Smiling hurts." He chuckled, but gasped in pain. "That...too." He bit into his lip until it bled, at the same time breathing erratically.

"Bucky, calm down. Don't hurt yourself even worse than you already have." Cap tried to calm him, but he feared that touching him in any way would cause the boy a lot of pain.

"Cap...it's...cold." He looked on the brink of death. The Captain feared that, if he moved again, it would be the last movement he ever made.

In a few minutes (what felt like hours for the Captain), they landed on the roof of a hospital. Bucky was taken into the building, and immediately put under. He was in such a poor condition that Cap wasn't sure he'd make it. All he could do was pray.

Eyo, guys! Sorry for not posting in a while. This one seemed to need my attention gravely, so I decided to go ahead and post a new chapter. Well, new/old sorta. First chapter redone. Hope y'all like it!
