chapter 14: Jackie's Quincerace pt.2

Gerardo POV
After the ceremony, it was time to go to the party i had Jackie's gift in my pocket and i will give it to her. Her party is at the same place we had my sister's Quincerace. So I'll take her to the garden and give her the gift. But she is arriving first like normal.
Jackie POV
When i got to the ballroom it was so beautiful. This was the same place Gerardo's sister had her Quincerace. I had love this place because it was so big. So i had to set up for my grand entrance cuz the song La la land will be playing. And im so excited.
James POV
I looked at Jackie and she was so happy. I liled her since sixth grade but never actually talked to her. But now that we have gym together i want to ask her out. So im asking her tonight after the dances which there are only four dances and the grand entrance.
Jocelyn POV
After the ceremony i found Gerardo and said,"Gerardo you know James right the one in Jackie's court?" "Ya i know him he's in one of my classes"he said. "He's trying to ask Jackie out because he likes her but she doesn't know and i need you to take her to the garden a-"i was cut off "and ask her out that was my plan" he said. "Ok lets head to the party and can you take me my family is driving me nuts ?" "Sure Jocelyn "he said and we left.
Jackie POV
People were arriving and taking a seat. When everyone got there the song La La Land played my court eneter the ballroom first then i went in and everyone cheered and i was so happy and we danced then after i found Jocelyn and she took me to the bathroom. "Help me change" "yea i know give my you dress and here your shorts hurry Jackie" she said putting on her shorts "where's my plaid shirt " she said "here"i said handing her the shirt and after she button it and put on her converse we ran back to the entance. We saw the guys we laughed cuz the were dressed like ranchers. Then the song Niña Boñita by chino y nacho came on and we dance. Then i ran back to the bathroom and changed back into my dress for the father daughter dance and we danced to the Titanic theme song. I cried because i love my dad he has help me with everything. Then i ran back again to the bathroom with Jackie and changed to my black and white party dress with black converse."where's my lipstick i have to reapply it" i said. "Here" Jocelyn said handing it to me and put on ad ran to my court. When the song Bind your Love by cher Lloyd came on and we danced i was really happy cuz nothing stopped me from having my best Quincerace ever. Then i went to the garden and prayed and give thx to God for my birthday.
Gerardo POV
I headed to the garden with the present. But then Kira stopped me."hey baby" she said. "Hi Kira "i said."no kiss"she said then pouted "no"i said and she tried to slap me but i dodged it"first you want to hook up with that skank and then you ignore me" she said "i broke up with you cuz you're a whore "and i slapped her and left.
James POV
I headed to the garden to find Jackie. Then i bumped into Jocelyn "hey Jocelyn " "hey james" "have you seen Jackie i have to ask her a question? "I said. "I dont know i haven't seen her since her last dance she just had." She said "well if you see her tell her i want to talk to her"i said."sure"she said and we left.
Gerardo POV
I went to the garden and Jackie was sitting there and i wen to her and i heard James behind me" Jackie will you go out with me ?"both of us said.
