"Belladonna~~! Are we there yet?", whined Dazai, who you happened on be traveling with. You had previously received a letter, telling you to meet up with Poe, but you had to bring someone. As everyone else at the agency was busy, Dazai was your best bet.

"Almost, Dazai," You paused to look up from your map to the location, to check you were going the right way ",Just through this door"

You came across a large, black wooden door that stood out in the white, old building you were in. It was completely abandoned, this old building, it had climbing roses on it's outer walls, and on the inside, some parts of the walls were broken away. The door, had this rustic metal gate over it, the metal the same color as the wood, but the metal was a part of it's structure, not an obstacle. It had red roses with black tips and vines, twisted and tangled in the metal bars.

You took a deep breath, as you wrapped your hand around the lion shaped doorknob and opened the door. It was a small room, with Poe seated at a wooden desks surrounded by his books. Carl, his raccoon, was curled up in the crook of Poe's neck in the most adorable way, but you kept your composure.

Dazai cleared his throat, loudly, which caused Poe to jump in surprise, not noticing when you walked through the door.

"H-HUH?! O-OH! Um... *clears throat* So, you have finally arrived," Poe purred at that last part, trying to make him sound sinister. You and Dazai sat down in the wooden chairs in front door of Poe.

"So, why did you bring us here?" You asked, and at this, Poe gave a slight chuckle before smirking.

"I had you come here, because I want you and your friend to go through a trial," he said ", I will use my ability to put you into a tower in a story I specially wrote with this trial in mind. Neither of you will be able to use your abilities while you are in this book. You will start at the top level of the tower and not leave until you reach the bottom door, the exit to the tower. I will not be telling you how many floors there are, however"

"Alright, let's get this over with, but first... Why are you having us do this?" Dazai asked.

"Oh, just for fun," said Poe. He rummaged through his books, before he found the book with the trial in it.

"Okay! I like fun things!" Dazai exclaimed playfully, but a dark smile he wore as he spoke.

"Yes, now both of you open up this book and the trial shall begin," Poe said, hand you the book. You and Dazai cautiously opened the book, before you were sucked inside.
