My first nightmare was when I was kid, not shocking but after that I hadn't had nightmares for a good amount of years. I can't remember how old I was but I know that at the time I lived in Arizona. I'm guessing I was around 6 or 7 maybe, I was a bit sensitive to loud noises and they scared me easily before I got used to it. I accidentally slept on the couch in the living room but I found myself in a dark abyss. There was nothing around me and I couldn't see anything but I can feel the floor under my feet. I was walking around trying to find something or someone but I fell into water, the moment I fell in I saw the color. At the time I didn't know how to swim so I was struggling to stay up, the splashing of water was so loud, the water had started to move while I struggled to stay above to breathe. It was swirling and turned to a whirlpool, like it was draining, and through all of it I struggled more to stay up, I almost choked on the water just to try to breathe. I saw the ground go farther up away from my reach as I was pulled down. I woke up with a small squeaky scream just before the water could fill my lungs. After that I didn't have another nightmare until when I was in sophomore year in highschool.
