There is an air to everyone you meet. Much like first impressions it stays with you, some don't. Some you find interesting enough to get to know and understand such as Nanami.

A man such as himself raises an innocent curiosity in you. What food does he like, what he enjoys, and you even want to invite him to your home to drink wine and talk shit about what's going on in the world. Nanami Kento is an honest man. He has the air of someone who strives for simplicity, yet demands respect in a way that most would deem intimidating.

Then there's Shoko, whom you surprisingly got a good conversation from considering her introverted nature. She is mysterious to you. The air around her is serene and intelligent. Now Gojo—

Gojo is different. He really is.

His air is gaudy. It's brilliant, it vibrates and sticks to you like cling film. But it matches his appearance. The sleazy smile he offers you every time you're in passing, he always stops you just to talk.

And talk.

And talk.

He makes talking fairly easy when he isn't being an absolute goofball (not that you don't appreciate a good joke or scene to cry-laugh at, you even join in on most occasions).

Gojo's air is bright...but there is something else there. It's extremely faint. A ghost that only shows itself when it wants to be seen and that it has power. You aren't dumb enough to call it cockiness, that would require him being inadequate at what he does.

He speaks with a level of self-assuredness that almost seems like he is commanding the universe to let him come out as the victor. And that's exactly what fuels him.

Satoru Gojo is sure.

Trying to decipher what stains it would be a day and a half of sitting and thinking.

You do not wish to go through the mental gymnastics of understanding him.

You wanted him stripped of his dignity. His ego. His confidence.

You wanted him beneath your feet begging for something—anything. Praying. Worshiping you.

You wanted to see those gorgeous eyes filled with tears, rolled halfway to the back of his head and fogged over without a single thought behind them but cumming.

Break him.

++++

Gojo finds himself knocking at your door with a case file tucked under his arm and while he waits he smacks the leaves of the potted plant. He even contemplates stealing it—though he doubts he'd be able to keep it alive.

I'm gonna do it anyway. He smirks to himself.

He knocks again, growing more impatient.

A whiny voice calls your name.

Gojo is becoming more tempted to break the lock the longer you take, so, in typical Gojo fashion he decides to knock continuously until you answer.

And your annoyed face makes him cheese once you snatch the door open.

"What."

"Hiii there, chickadee! I have good news and bad news so which one do you wanna hear first?" It's hard to prevent his towering figure from pushing past you into your home and manspreading on the couch.

"Is this about—"

"Okay so the bad news is that the curse Nobara and Megumi are after isn't actually a first grade it's actually a special grade—"

"Huh-?!"

"But the good news is that it's nothing they can't handle!"

You raise your eyebrows in disbelief. The last time he said those words Megumi was eating his meals through a straw for six weeks.
