I'm so sick of seventeen

hey lovelies I'm canis nice to meet you all. This is the first part of my first story so i hope you guys like it!

Lets get on with the story

Part I ~

I was peacefully dreaming about the man of my dreams. James was just about to propose to me when.... something cold splashed my face!
"what the fuck!!" I shouted. i paused to see my best friend with a bucket of water in her hand.
I took a look at my clock
"dammit y/bsf/n (your best friend name) you couldn't have woken me sooner??"
she just stared at me with an annoyed look
That's when i noticed that there was a bruise on her face i immediately sat up angrily and said" who did this to you I'm gonna punch them in the gut so hard they're gonna forget how to walk" y/ bsf/n's face turned into an amused expression she smirked and said " i don't think you'll be brave enough to do that"
Oh no she didn't. " Are u challenging me ?"
she let out an exasperated sigh and started brushing her hair then said" u hurt me while i was trying to wake u up u idiot!"
"Oh" i put on a sheepish expression and let out a low sorry. I realised we were running late so I ran to the washroom to brush my teeth and get ready for the day.
Then IT dawned on me... today was a Saturday!!
" YOU MORON!!! u know how much i love my sleep i cried"
outside i could hear her laughing her arse off like the evil person she is. I grudgingly got ready when IT dawned in me again ( yes i am really slow aren't i? ) Today was my Birthday!! Suddenly all anger and fatigue left me and my face turned into one of the biggest smiles. As today wasn't an ordinary birthday ( if thats even a thing) today i turned 17!!!  I quickly slipped on a white hoodie with black jeans my converse shoes and the pendant my mom gifted me last year it had the last picture of my mom, dad me and my brother together. You see my dad died in a car crash last year. I miss him but i know he's watching me from above and giving me his blessings. On the other side i have a picture of me ,y/bsf/n and my boyfriend James. I love this day its one of my favourite memories. We all went by the black lake to have a picnic and y/bsf/n got so fed up of James she pushed him in the lake. The funny part was that he pulled her into the water as well. So this picture was taken when they were coming out the water with plants in their hair. I came back from memory lane when i heard a knock on the door. " y/n/n ( your nickname) I'm going to the common room head out there when you're ready!" " Alright bsf/n/n ( best friend nickname) I'll be there in 5 "I put on some light blush a light pink lip balm and some eyeliner i topped it off with my silver earrings. i put my hair in a braided ponytail and headed out. I felt my hand tug at something and I turned to see what it was . I saw my charm bracelet tugging on the doorknob. This wasn't an ordinary charm bracelet it was a bracelet james gifted me on Valentines day last year. It had different charms which related to our inside jokes  I had a stag charm for obvious reasons i had a heart charm which looked like the heart shaped card i had given James on Valentines day. I had written an embarrassing poem which had been an inside joke for all marauders for weeks. There were the words from that poem written on it. Whenever this charm glowed it meant that James was in love or happy with someone he loved. Next we had a skull which meant if it glowed he was in danger and then we had a strawberry charm which meant if it glowed the other person was calling for you or wanted to meet you. I broke out of my train of thought and headed out in the common room. I walked down the spiral staircase and  I was happily surprised when i saw banners all over the place. They read Happy Birthday y/n from the marauders and marauderettes. i could see all my closest friends Sirius, Arya ,Marlene ,Dorcas, Mary Remus, Peter and Frank.  I swept my eyes around and noticed James wasn't there... I wasn't worried though I'm sure he didn't forget my birthday he's probably being what he calls fashionably late as he says. i Smiled brightly and went to give them a big hug"Aaaahhhh guyys" "Happy Birthday y/n!!" I beamed and replied " Thank you so much guys i love you all!!" the rest of the gryffindors were in hogsmeade for the day so we had the common room to ourselves. We did the gift opening ceremony. I was so excited they give the best presents. y/bsf/n gifted me a new guitar " bsf/n!! oh thank you so much you knew how sad i was when my other one broke!!" " i love you too y/n happy birthday" I gave her a big hug. Sirius got me a new beatles hoodie and Remus got me some new quills and a  fantasy book " oh my godd Remmy thank you so much i love it!! " Peter bought me some sweets from honeydukes and i was grateful " aww thank you pete" all the marauderettes got me a beautiful dolphin pendant which changed its shape to a doe ( my patronus is a dolphin and i can change it into a doe too) " Queens i love you thank youuu"  i hugged them so tight. My gaze searched for the one person i cared for the most..... Where was James?? Remus caught my stare and said quietly" James called for quidditch practice he's been gone all morning" my heart sunk a bit but i ignored it. But wait! i thought Sirius, frank , marlene and Mary were on the team too he can't have practice without so many missing people. It seemed that the realisation just dawned on Frank as well because he stared at me with wide confused eyes. I suddenly spoke up" wait if he's at practice why aren't u guys there?" I crossed my arms still contemplating " he can't play without both beaters." i said nodding towards Sirius and Mary " the chaser" i said turning towards Frank" and the seeker" i said my gaze at Marlene. My eyes fell to my wrist and i saw the red heart glowing. Alarmed i looked up " guys the heart " i cried  Remus then said" But y/n that only happens when James is with somebody he loves romantically"  Sirius suddenly spoke up shocked" LILY!! " My eyes went wide Dorcas said" she isn't here... but she wouldn't do something like this... would she?" Sirius and Remus ran up to the dormitory and i heard Marlene shout after them " guys this is not the time to be horny we're in a crisis here get ur arses down here"
everyone except me laughed and we all saw  two very red faced Remus and Sirius walking down with a piece of parchment.The sight of the  made even me crack up.  "What's that?" Alice asked Remus said something about a map of hogwarts while Sirius mumbled something we couldn't hear. Everyone respected their privacy and decided not to question it. Suddenly Sirius's face pales up and Remus',s face went numb i could see in both their eyes they were angry. Finally Remus said" James is with Lily  in the Room of Requirement." What's that" asked Mary ,Sirius quickly explained what it was to all of them and I was too shocked and scared to say anything. I tried to calm myself down but somehow my conscience said that this wasn't a friendly meet up! i heard bsf/n say "lets go and bust them if something's happening then we'll all kill them if not we'll see what to do" Everyone agreed and we set out towards the ROR( room of requirement). I felt someone's touch on me and i saw Remus giving me a reassuring smile i smiled back and let out a shaky breath. Suddenly we had reached the room. I hesitated for a minute but then opened the door. What i saw made my heart drop into my stomach. Tears welled in my eyes and behind me i heard dorcas, frank and alice hold back Mary Marlene and bsf/n from jumping onto them. Sirius just stood there shocked but i could see in his eyes he was very angry. I saw Remus, his eyes darkened but a look of calmness on his face anyone could tell that this was the calm before the storm. inside the room james and lily sat on a couch kissing each other. A gut wrenching sob left my mouth before i could stop it. James and Lily broke apart surprised. James saw me and his eyes grew big. *
"y-y/n?" he asked. Before he could say anything else i ran away to the Astronomy tower and let out the tears I had been surpressing
