Da-Eun's POV
I fucking hate how these guys stare at me every time I enter a spoonful of rice and meat in my mouth. I have been looking at the plate trying to avoid their gazes.
"So," A guy spoke breaking the long-term silence since earlier. "Is she really on the team?" I looked up and saw the guy who was talking. His hair was dark brown, he had a round face and round eyes, almost looking like a bear.
"No-" Mark tried to oppose but a voice interrupted him. It was mine of course.
"Hell yeah, I'm in." I looked at Mark and I could see how much he wanted to punch me in the face. "It's just a one-time mission, right? I'll join you guys just for this mission and then I'll leave as soon as we accomplish our goal. Besides, the Kangs have a big debt they must pay from me."
"And that is?" Another guy asked. He had black hair and his jaw was as sharp as a cutter. And I wasn't even exaggerating when I said those words. It was sharp. From what I remember his name was Jaemin. I saw him argue a couple of times with the blonde Chinese guy named Renjun.
"Let's just say they took something very important to me," I replied remembering what they did to my family and me before. I felt a slight grin form on my face.
"If that's the case..." Another black-haired guy spoke. I didn't know his name, but he was arrogant as hell. "Training starts tomorrow. Be ready." He said as he folded his arms.
"Seriously, Jeno?" Mark spoke. I shifted my sight to him and nodded, giving him reassurance that I could handle whatever that 'training' may be. He exhaled and annoyingly stated, "Just be easy with her."
"This is not some charity work, Mark. She agreed to be on the team, and whatever we went through she must accomplish too. If she wants to get back at the Kangs for whatever in hell they did to her, then she must be ready to fight those big guys." The boy who Mark called Jeno stated.
"I'm fine with it. I'll start tomorrow, what time will I go here?" I asked munching on some meat.
Damn, this is delicious.
"Who said you'll go home? From now on you will be staying here." I frowned at Renjun's words.
Eh?
"Whoever goes under training in our hands must stay, live, and breathe with us. Besides, you're considered part of the team now." The guy with dark brown hair stated. The one who looks like a bear. I chuckled silently at that thought.
"Huh?" The man who kept on screaming like a dolphin earlier while they were playing a game suddenly frowned. He had his eyes focused on his laptop which had different stickers attached to it.
"What's wrong?" The youngest-looking guy among the seven asked.
"I can't hack into Da-Eun's private information." He said.
"Why would you even hack it? It's called 'private' for a reason." I rolled my eyes and saw Jaemin laugh at the red-haired guy.
"Dumbass, there's no such thing as secrets when you're in a gang." Irritation showed in his face. "I don't even know why Jeno let someone like you enter our team. We don't even know you and what you're capable of." He muttered the final words.
"That's right. You don't know what I'm capable of so shut your mouth before you find yourself buried in the cemetery." I annoyingly hissed as I received a scoff from him. He made a face and all he received was my middle finger.
"Stop arguing, you two." Mark commanded.
"We have to know your background, Da-Eun. Where you're from and who your parents are." The arrogant dude, Jeno said.
