Chapter Two

As I open my eyes, I immediately break down crying. How was I supposed to live in a world without him? How am I just supposed to say 'goodbye' like that? We didn't do so much together. As my mind raced, I curl up under my covers and cry. I could feel my body get hotter as I did. We didn't go to a farm and feed animals, we didn't swim with sharks how he wanted, we didn't see the world from the sky, we didn't get married, we didn't go to a cat cafe, we didn't adopt any animals together, we didn't move in with the other, we didn't see the other get their first job, we didn't eat the other's cooking, we didn't do so much. Everything else was worthless without him. My light and world are gone, and who knows the next time I'll find it. I remove the covers from my head. My eyes couldn't help but trace to my pill bottle. But, I found something next to it. Something red and fluffy. I slowly get out of bed and walk over, trying my best to slow my tears. That's when I saw a hoodie. His hoodie. I shakily reach over to it, being able to feel it. It was his... It's real, too. I slowly pick it up. It had writing on it. 'I love you' was written in his favorite font, Amatic SC. I smile warmingly as I quickly throw it on my body. It was baggy on me, just as he knew I liked it. I look down on it as I notice the smell it had. It smelled like him. My tears completely stop as I giggle softly, looking down at the printing.

"I love you too... I always will."
