Look, I don't know this chick and this is an AU. If you hate what I do here with her, sorry, but this is my story. Fuck off.

"I'm going to work out, dad," said Cole as he checked his bag once more. "Want anything on the way home?"

"No thanks," his father replied as he opened the newspaper. "Have fun."

With that, Cole made his way to the gym. He was glad that even when his father used to push him into becoming a dancer, he'd allow Cole to work out and exercise the way he liked making him pretty fucking fit for his age. Perhaps had he known what was going on at the time, he would've saved himself when he was tied to that van one day?

Whatever.

To put his goals into words, he wanted to be able to lift cars out of the way when they can't move... or at least the tiny smart cars since he was pretty sure he could never lift The Bandwagon with The Die in it. Sure, that wasn't the original intention for his goal, but that's a good way to put it since you'd have to be a strong mother fucker to pick up a smart car with your bare hands.

In the middle of his workout, he felt eyes on him.

"It's probably nothing or someone glossing over," he thought as he turned the music up in his headphones. This worked for a few songs, but now Cole was getting creeped out once more. "Okay, what the Underworld?"

Once he placed the weights down, Cole looked around to try and find what could be making him feel uncomfortable at the moment besides the security camera. He was surprised to find a girl quickly looking away from his general direction.

She was probably the one staring at him, but there was something kinda off about her especially with that mask tattoo on her arm...

He pulled out his phone picking someone from The Die to talk about this with.

Frosty: Yes. It varies from person to person, but all Oni have a mask tattoo somewhere on their body. Why?

Is there any that has pink hair with a blue stripe on their right side and blue eyes?

Frosty: I've checked my database, I have no records of anyone that fits your description. Maybe she is new? My advice is to proceed with caution. Would you like one of us to arrive at the gym?

At first, Cole questioned how Zane knew he was at the gym, but then he realized he was talking to a robot.

Frosty: I will notify the cat and someone, maybe the dog since he's the fastest, will arrive shortly.

Frosty: Stay inside or around that building.

Cole felt better knowing that one of his friends was going to be there soon as he looked over at her again. She had moved a little closer to him making him feel even more uncomfortable.

"Okay, time to move on to the next machine," he thought as he kept an eye on the mystery girl. He eventually decided to call it a day early and went to the men's locker room where he felt safe from her eyes. "Okay, just sit in here, maybe shower, and then leave with whichever Die is picking me up."

Meanwhile, outside of the men's locker room...

Zane had done a hard scan of the building to find Cole's location. He was alone in the men's locker room showering. A part of Zane thought he should sneak in through the vents, but he wasn't sure how to get Cole out of there safely as he gets in.

He decided to just text Cole saying that he was here to pick him up. A minute later, Cole was seen exiting the building so Zane opened a window to the car.

"Get in, quickly," said Zane. Cole quickly got in shutting the door behind him as they went to a more secretive area where The Bandwagon transformed into its true form. "Okay, we are safe to talk."

"This was The Bandwagon the whole time?!"

"Yes, The Bandwagon can shapeshift, but that's not important right now. What is important is that The Oni seem to want you for whatever reason. Did this woman say anything to you?"

"No."

"What sort of jester had she performed when you saw her?"

"None... she would just turn away every time I looked over at her... but I think her name is 'Seliel'?"
Zane quickly looked through databases for women named Seliel. As soon as he found a match to what Cole described, he projected an image.
"That's her!"

"According to her records, Seliel Phantom is a known psychopath," stated Zane. "She had killed many people including her biological freshblood."

"What's a freshblood?"

"A freshblood is what Aloy's family calls babies from when they were born to when they can walk and talk."

Cole's mouth was open, but no words came out. He was shocked to hear that this chick had killed a baby she birthed herself... What kind of mother would do that to their child?

"W-why would she be watching me?" he asked trying to collect himself.

"If she did join The Oni, then there's no doubt that The Oni want you. Alive or dead is the question..."
A tear had slipped as Cole took the information in.
"Seliel had seen you so it's only a matter of time before she finds out where you live. Fortunately, schools know she is bad news so she can not attack you at school..."

"But what about my father? Is he safe?"

"Unfortunately, he might not be... Please contact your father and get him out of the house. We shall pick him up and check him for anything that could be used to track our location. Speaking of which, can I please see your phone?"

Cole gave his phone to Zane plugging himself into the phone. A few minutes later, he unplugged himself giving Cole his phone back.

"What did you do?"

"I installed a little program on your phone that makes it impossible to be tracked. Now you can come to my home with no problems. I will be doing this with your father's phone when he's in The Bandwagon."

"Harumi installed cameras and listening devices in my house."

"Pardon?"

"My father used the made-up language my mother and I made to tell me that Harumi is watching us in my house... I'm glad that he doesn't trust The Oni, but I don't know if he's willing to just follow us..."

"Well, he has to, or else neither of you will make it to tomorrow. Just in case, we will retrieve Lloyd and Jay's parents as well after I notify them of the situation."

Why the hell does The Oni want Cole for?
