A/N: theres a lot of logic we have to ignore here. I know some of it doesn't make any sense at all but shut up. Just go with it and the cuteness please.

I had gotten use to it. I helped him with everything, it was hard while he had been gone for that week but he was back with me and I loved it.

I knew somewhere deep inside he felt like he was a burden to me but I just couldn't find it in me to think of him that way.

He lost his sight but that changed nothing except maybe us needing more communication. However, we were always great at that and he had adjusted well. It had been years and we were still going strong.

We had decided to play monopoly today. We had board games with braille on them and I helped him whenever he needed me.

No cheating, no matter how much I wanted to.

He always made all these funny jokes and his facial expressions always gave away so much of how he felt. Sometimes I found myself staring in awe at how I got so lucky.

'I beg of you my lord, don't do this, I have children to feeeed,' I said in an over powering accent.

'No me lady, I shant listen to thy request to-' he said in a very goofy accent before I interrupted him.

'What, you planning on killing me with an accent that makes you sound high before you bankrupt me?'

'HEY!! I thought it was good,' he pouted before smiling and saying, 'nah, you're prolly just jealous.'

He then went on to decimate me in the game. We then sat while he cuddled my sadness away.

'You know, you could just go easy on me for a game. Like, maybe just let your beautiful girlfriend who cooks amazing food for you, win for once.'

'Hmmmm I mean, a bit of convincing may help me sway my decision for the next game,' he waggled his eyebrows suggestively.

I scoffed jokingly, 'you're such a guy.'

He let out a laugh, holding me closer. He kissed my forehead and said, 'don't worry, you won the lottery for best partner so I can't beat you there.'

He started laughing as I smacked him lightly with a sofa pillow.

'Kidding, you lost that too, I'm totally the winner there. No one gets close to my perfect girlfriend. Guess I get the best all round,' I found myself just looking at him with a huge smile.

'And totally modest too. He has it all, ladies and gentlemen,' I said with a little giggle. I put my face in the crook of his neck and felt myself unable to get rid of the smile I had.

I had this wierd feeling that he was using the braille less on the board and I could've sworn I saw him look directly at me when I said something but maybe it was in my head. Maybe he was just getting very good at navigating.

I was proud of him either way. He has made so much progress over the years.

He had been making trips for a while wih his brother that I wasn't able to go on. It was ok though, they needed their time. The last trip had been a whole week but I didn't say anything because his brother really needed it.

He was going out with his brother again today, to his parents house. They were probably making music, they had a nice studio there.

Drew loved music, he loved to sing and he had the most mesmerising voice. He could play so many instruments and he was so good at coming up with lyrics.
