The huge transport plane carried the monsters back to Modesto, California, Ginormica sat with her friends still energized by what just happened on the Golden Gate Bridge.

"Three weeks ago, if you had asked me to defeat a giant robot, I'd have said, "No can do." But I did it! Me! I'm still buzzing," she exclaimed. "Did you see how strong I was?! Probably isn't a jar in this world I can't open."

"You were positively heroic, my dear," Dr Cockroach agreed. "I especially loved how you and Koco saved those people on the bridge. It was a nice touch. Even Koco was even strong enough to pull down the robot. Wasn't she amazing, Link?"

Koco turned to where the scaly creature was. "Yeah, she was great. Really cool. Loved it," he said flatly.

"Oh, poor Link," the raoch said, sympathically. "After all that tough talk, you were out-monstered by a girl and a robot android. No wonder you're depressed."

"Hey, I'm not depressed," Link snapped. "I'm tired."

"Are you sure?" P asked.

Koco stepped toward Link. But she thought it was best to leave him be.

"Why are you so tired? You didn't do anything," B.O.B put in.

"Well, I haven't been sleeping well. Right? I got sleep apnea... apnea. Whatever. It's not fun."

"So Link's a little rusty... I mean, sleep deprived," said Ginormica. "You'll be back to your old self in no time. And so will I."

B.O.B blinked in surprise. "What happened to the "there isn't a jar in the world I can't open" stuff? Wait. Did you find a jar you couldn't open? Were pickles in it? Where's the giant jar of pickles?!"

"What my associate is trying to say is," Dr. Cockroach cuts in, "that we all think the new Susan is the "cat's me-ow." I'm sorry."

V begins to giggle. "Aw Doc. You're so funny."

"Aw. Thanks, you guys. That is so sweet, but I have a normal life waiting for me? You know?"

"So, uh, tell me, exactly," Link starred, 'how this normal life thing works with you being a giant. You know."

"I'm not gonna be a giant forever," Ginormica said. "Derek won't rest until we've found a cure for my... condition. We're a team."

"We could all do with a Derek," added Dr. Cockroach. "Perhaps, someday, we could make acquaintance!"

"Really? You guys want to meet Derek?"

"Oh, yes," Poko agreed, nodding her head.

"First stop, Modesto!" called out General Monger frpm the front of the plane. "Ginormica, I called your family to let them know you were coming home. Now, I also called the Modesto PD and told them not to shoot at you."

"Thanks, General," Ginomrica replied happily.

It was finally happening. Koco was going to meet Derek and her family.

Then the transport plane landed in Modesto. Ginormica picked up Koco gently as the rest walked. "OK, remember, these people aren't used to seeing... anything like... you, or you... or you," she told them. "So just be, you know, cool. Just be... you know... Follow my lead."

As she whirled toward her parent's house, she accidentally stepped on the fence, completely crushing it.

"Uh oh," said P.

The other monsters instantly began smashing up the rest of it. V and P covered their eyes as the monsters started to hurl at a parked car.

"Stop!" Ginormica shouted. "That was an accident! Don't destroy anything!"
