The Start

Nini was sitting in her room doing homework until she heard someone call her name. "Nini dinner ready," her mom shouted. "Ok" she shouted back. She closed her laptop and headed downstairs. Once she got downstairs she could smell dinner by the smell she guessed it was pasta. She pulled a chair out and sat down as her mom put 3 plates of food on the table. Both of her moms sat down and they started eating. "Um Nina, we need to talk to you" her mom said. She knew when her mom used her real name and not her nickname it was serious. "We have some bad news and good news. Which one do you want first?" Dana said. "Um bad then good that way the good news makes the bad a little better" Nini said. "Well um the court called, apparently your dad secretly got a lawyer and changed the deal" Dana said. Nini replied "What do you mean?" "He made it so you now live with him during your next two school years" Dana said. WHAT, YOU MEAN I HAVE TO LIVE WITH HIM FOR MY JUNIOR AND SENIOR YEAR" she yelled. Carol replied, "Nini calm down this is where the good news comes in your mom and I looked up stuff to see if there was any way we could stop you from living with him and we found out something." "What did you find out?" Nini replied quickly. "That if you go to boarding school you won't have to live with him since you would live at the school. Dana then said, "Now that brings us to the really good news, we know how you hate your school and how bad you've wanted to go to East Manhattan Private School." "Please tell me what I think you're telling me" she says really fast. "Yep you're going to East Manhattan Private School." Nini Screams, "OMG you guys are the best thank you so much!" Nini runs up to her room and opens her phone to text her cousins.

"Nini do you have to go?" Mia asked. "Yes", she said with tears in her eyes. "We're going to miss you so much bestie." Ella replied also with tears in her eyes. They all went in for a group hug for 2 minutes before Nini moms interrupted. "Nini we need to get to our flight. It leaves in 45 minutes and we still have to check in and make it across the airport." she replied, "Ok well i guess i'll see you guys at Christmas." Mia Replied, "Yeah, promise to call or text everyday." "I promise," She said. She started to grab her stuff before giving Ella and Mia one more hug. "Bye guys." She soon turned to her moms and they started to head to check in.
