Aria POV
I reached into my bag and pulled out my picture I had of my family when we went to Florida. I set it on the mahogany night stand sitting next to my bed. I looked around my new dorm that I would be living in for the next 4 years. White walls, with posters everywhere of BVB, AA, BOTDF, and SWS. Plush white carpet covered the floor and 3 beds. One in each corner. I looked over at one of my roommates, Ember Wolf, and smiled. We have known each other since high school back in Washington. I hated that state. So boring. Plus, my parents were too protective. They almost didn't let me come here for college. I don't even want to be here. Right now, I wanna be in a recording studio. Singing my heart out. Serenading the microphone, but nope. Dumbass parents.
I threw my covers over my bed and made it quickly. I was starting to wonder who our other roommate was.
"Who do you think's gonna be the other roomie?" I asked Ember who was situating things on her nightstand.
"I don't know. Someone cool I hope."
"Yeah, hopefully not another asshole prep. Fucking hate ‘em." I said and turned around, finished folding my clothes and stuffing them into the 5 drawers of my dresser.
"Ya, me too" She sighed.
I fell onto my bed and spread out over it. Moving sucks ass. I yawned and closed my eyes to take a short cat nap. But that didn't last long.
"Hi, nice posters." A girl said sweetly. I opened up one eye and took a loo at her. Dark brown hair, skinny jeans, and an Asking Alexandria shirt. So far, I liked what I was seeing.
"Hey, I'm Aria." I said and shook her hand with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Lilly." She said bashfully.
"Like your shirt." I said sitting back down on my now messed up bed.
"Oh, thanks. My favorite band." She nodded and sat her bags on the empty bed.
She walked over to Ember and attempted to greet her. It didn't go so well.
"Uhm, hi. I'm Lilly."
"Ya. I know. You just said your name like 3 seconds ago." She said.
"Ember!" I said quickly.
"What?! Its true! I'm not stupid!" She snapped. I rolled my eyes and laughed quietly to myself.
"Well, I'm Ember. Obviously." She said not even making eye contact with her. She was in one her moods today.
Lilly walked back to her bed with a frightened and disgusted look on her face.
"Oh don't worry, she's not always like this. She's just in a mood today." I said to her shielding my mouth in her direction.
"Oh..." She smiled.
"I can hear you, ya know!" Ember said, taking a look at us with her arms crossed.
"Well, I was just telling her a little bit about you."
"I can do that myself thank you very much. Plus, maybe I don't want her to know anything about me yet." She snapped and turned back around to her bed.
"Damn..." I said under my breath.
Lilly quietly unpacked her things, not bothering either of us. Quiet type I see, well that's gonna have to change. I smirked and stood up.
I went over to the radio I brought from home and turned it on. Asking Alexandria was playing, To The Stage. I started jumping around the room and dancing.
"C'mon! Get into it!" I nudged Lilly, grabbed her arm and made her jump with me. She blushed and awkwardly got into it. I looked up at the poster of them and smiled.
