Poem#1

There once was a bright light
A light so bright that you couldn't look directly at it.
It was so beautiful and bright
But after a while that beautifulness started to fade
The brightness was dimming as time went by.
But as it dimmed we started noticing weird things
Strange things
Things that had appeared and started to evolve from places we didn't know things could evolve from.
One day we found out that not all of them were friendly
That day was a terrifying day so much human blood had been shed.
We didn't know if it was ever going to stop
But luckily for us it appears that the creatures hibernate.
But only for so long as we noticed with the little light diminishing
The more the creatures evolve.
It's only so long before they stop having to hibernate
But by then will humanity have found a way to stop this madnes or get off this planet.
Or will this be the last of humanity just hiding away as we being picked off one by one.
