Note: The image above was drawn by me and is pretty much a basis look for [Y/n]. Alter it however you want in your mind when you're reading the story, dear readers. Please do not steal, thank you.
The text says: "Eye color can change depending on mood. The 3, on the left, are the main ones." "Eyes will appear randomly on the skin when moods are intense." "Has one default eye that has a mind of its own (?)" "They are 21 years old." I don't know what they are yet but I'm proud of the design. :3

In the cold, taiga night is two silhouettes having a stare down at the front yard of a dark wooded house. One of them was [Y/n] in a tense stance, having their garments be covered by their grayish-blue poncho attach to a long, blue cape flowing as the cold winds blew by. The other stood a man taller than them in a relaxed position wearing a sinister grin, or at least they assume so. The man's face was covered by a mask with a smiling face imprinted on it as well as wearing a green hoodie, black pants, and some enchanted armor pieces.

After a few chilling breezes passed, the man let out a muffled yawn to break the silence. "Alright, this is boring." he bluntly puts it, "Relax a little bit, I'm just here to make a deal." his tone being awfully calm with a hint of playfulness.

[Y/n] narrow their eyes, half wanting to send the man out of here and staying out of this bastard's schemes while the other half is saying don't be rude and listen to him for a moment. The eye blinks, keeping quiet. They sigh through their nostrils, "What is it?" [Y/n] reply.

The man pulls out what seems to be an enchanted book from his inventory and threw it at [Y/n] as they manage to reach for it. It reads 'Loyalty.' "Decipher it," he orders, shifting to a sneer, "Should be easy for someone like you, right [Y/n]?"

They narrow their eyes at him, really tempted to throw the book back at him right in the face for that remark. But they push back that urge and replace it with curiosity. "What's this for, Dream?" [Y/n] asked.

The man, now known as Dream, responded with "It's nana."

[Y/n] instantly let out a low grunt in annoyance, knowing exactly where this is going, and then heard Dream snickering under his mask. Maybe I should've sent him home...if he has a home. "Can you tell me my payment at least?" Their tone clearly irritated. The eye's pupil turns to Dream, quietly waiting for Dream's response.

"That depends on how well you'll do on deciphering the book. Don't worry, the diamonds, emeralds, and all the other things will be yours soon. You won't need to go into the caves for 2 months straight." he grins under his mask.

It narrows its eye, to be more accurate, glaring. [Y/n] place the enchanted book away in their inventory as they turn their back away from him, heading inside their home and murmurs "...Thanks." The eye's lid closed, seemingly thinking.

Not bothering to see Dream leaving the taiga, [Y/n] enters and was welcome by the warmth of the furnaces inside the house. They close the door as a fluffy, grey dog named Paul rushes towards you in excitement followed by Jinx, a short-haired black cat. [Y/n] smiles, petting both of their pets' heads as they listen to Paul barking with glee and Jinx purring affectionately. Though, that smile falters as they remembered the task they were handed by the green bastard.

...I rather not go into the caves... That's your decision, huh? [Y/n] groans and mumbles "There goes my sleeping schedule. Not that I have one."
