The smell of gunpowder was thick in the smokey air outside of their house, causing [Y/n] to scrunched their annoyed face into disgust. In front of them was a 3 by 3, 4 blocks deep hole, some berry bushes, and fences were burnt to charcoal, and the left side on their house's wall was crumbling a little all caused by a single creeper. I swear to God I'm going to cause a fucking genocide to all creepers if they don't stop blowing up parts of my house. They maddeningly thought as their mind shifts to the numerous ideas on how to get started on this "creeper genocide." Damn, that's very sadistic and intense of you. Let's do it!!
They stood still for a moment in the morning rays, ignoring the eye and quietly thanking the fact there won't be any mobs at the moment, then sighs in exhaustion with their head falling to the side a bit. Having Jinx here would've been helpful. Some dirt has appeared onto [Y/n] hands as they start filling in the deep hole. They figured they would've been used to the many explosions near their house already but it seems they were wrong. They don't know why but there were usually crowds of creepers around, with little skeletons, zombies, and other mobs, where they lived. Sure, they could've easily left from this one area but they simply don't want to. This causes [Y/n]'s hatred for creepers to increase every day though.
They were now done filling the hole and turns to their crumbling wall, taking out some dark oak wooden planks, fences, and berry bushes from their inventory, and then gets to fixing while ignoring the loud barking coming from upstairs in their house. Poor doggy. The eye sheds a tear, being dramatic. The explosion from the creeper this morning caused Paul, the grey dog, to wake up from his slumber in [Y/n]'s bedroom and he barks, wanting to get out of the closed-off room and into flourishing nature. If Paul were to get out of the house at this very moment, it would've resulted in [Y/n]'s entire day be wasted on finding the lost dog in the thick, dark oak forest. The greyhound is only allowed outside if they were present.
Now with the hole in the wall fixed and the fences and berry bushes been placed, [Y/n] dash inside the house, quickly shutting the front door close, and heads up the stairs with the barking getting louder. They open the door and Paul jumps onto them, causing [Y/n] to fall onto the floor and be crushed by the grey dog's weight as he licks them. PAUL!! "Alright alright, I get it," they pants while trying to prevent Paul from licking them any further, "I'll get you your food first, and then we'll go on a walk, sound good?" They heard an excited bark as a response. "Cool, now I need you off of me please." Paul faces the stairs, running down and [Y/n] is assuming that he was in the kitchen now waiting. Feed the almighty Paul! Feed the almighty Paul! I will! Geez, calm the fuck down. They are getting a splitting headache from the eye's echoing chants.
As [Y/n] enters the kitchen, they see Paul sitting in front of the cabinets under the sink, staring. They can faintly hear some muffled scratches coming from inside the cabinets and quickly sighs through their nose. "Hey Jinx, you enjoying yourself?" they say as they open the cupboard with Paul backing away now standing and wagging his tail, revealing a black cat on top of a pile of paper bags with her claws hooked onto the items. Her emerald eyes jerks to [Y/n] and meows faintly. Plastic Cat! Plastic Cat! The eye chants again excitedly. "Come on, you want food right?" As an answer to that question, Jinx quickly gets out of the cabinet over to her food bowl, bringing a stuck paper bag on one of her paws along with her, and meows loudly.
Taking that as a yes, [Y/n] grabs two different bags of pet food from the floor side of their fridge and pours their pets' breakfast. Both of them quickly get to eating, leaving [Y/n] to go wash their hands from the work earlier and readying to toast some garlic bread.
