Z-Virus 3

Chapter 1

I listened to the soft rattling as the carts road across the Villages old tracks. I checked the ammo of my shotgun and if we found shells it would be fine but I was still good on ammo. Jane was sitting there talking with her brother Henry, Jane really needed a weapon because she lost her weapons back at the village.

Ben was spinning the rounds of his Silenced Pistol. He was still mourning the death of Olivia, she gave her life to save ours. We had lost many friends along the way of this apocalypse. Adene ,George, Sora, Jenner, Yen, Jackie, and now  Olivia. We needed a place to be safe.

Lou and Felicia was talking about their endless nightmares in the Village. Ivan was mourning the most because he lost his entire group and rescue team. We all heard a loud metal screeching.

We realized that the carts stopped and we looked around, the destination was covered in snow. The flakes of winter were falling down to the earth floor and the wind hit my face as the team stepped out of the carts and walked toward the resort.

We kept our weapons close because we had felt this before, it was silent too silent. Ben held his silenced pistol so hard his knuckles turned white. Jane was hesitant because she didn't have a knife.

Lou was brushing his beard because the snow was getting caught in it. We approached the resort and everything was alright we lowered our weapons, but a rotten and frozen hand burst out and grabbed Henry. A zombie clawed it's way out of the snow and onto Henry.

Lou rammed the butt of the gun into the zombie and pulled Henry up. Zombies were waking up and rising from the snow. One stumbled up to me but it's eye exploded and on the roof of the resort we saw a man with a cowboy hat and a side scar with a sniper rifle, he yelled on thing to us " Inside!!"

We took his advise and ran inside the building. A woman in a turban and arm tattoos locked the door and leaned against it she introduced herself as " Nea".

We saw 4 others, a guy with a misshapen beard and sunglasses who we found out was Hill. A woman with a biker jacket called Ellie, a guy with a vest and gold tooth called Grett. And a man with a suit and mustache called Trent.

The guy from the roof came down and introduced themselves as Tennessee. They brought us over to the fire for a much needed meal.
