In the Evening

Cloud didn't return until thirty minutes before dinner, which means she skipped four classes. There was something else too. That look on her face: I am frightened, Jenn. Save me from this horror. Exactly. My heart formed into a worry shape.

What happened in there was a complete secret. In the dorm, Cloud also refused to say anything about the meeting. All she said was,"I have to meet him again after twenty minutes." Ok. That's my cue to follow her and use my invisibility power. I almost caused Cloud a heart attack when she couldn't find me. I didn't realize I was invisible until she touched me and she screamed that I was invisible.

I followed Cloud invisibly, trying not to crack up. "Chiron she's one of the powerful ones."
"Cloud, it doesn't mean that she's one of the Big Three."

Wait... Chiron?! Like the Chiron?! The one who trained all of the famous Greek heroes? I was so immersed in my own thoughts, my iPod dropped on the floor. I mentally scolded myself. A figure way too tall to be Mr. Brunner appeared at the doorway, followed by a floating Cloud. My invisible hand reached down and slowly picked up my iPod, so it looked as if it weren't moving. "Chiron" walked back in his office and continued his conversation with Cloud, but I was no longer listening.

I stumbled back to my dorm and lied down on my bed.

Guys, I'm really sorry I couldn't update sooner; my mom grounded me from using my iPhone for a couple weeks and I was only one-fourth done with the chapter. And please don't cuss, because my brother sees all of this stuff and he'll do anything to get me grounded or punished. It pains me almost enough to make me want to bathe in the River Styx.
