Jeongin Stray Kids

Daisy5Duke: I love crossover fics so if you could maybe do one with Btob, Ateez, and Stray Kids set during kingdom. Maybe Jeongin gets sick and everyone is worried and takes care of him.

It was already the 3rd round in kingdom. In this round they told the kpop grups that they would have to compete in sub-units but there was a twist, there would only be two groups. That meant that they would have to collaborate with other groups.

Stray kids was really exited, wanting to get closer to the other participants, especially their sunbaenims, BTOB.

Their wishes came true when the host mentioned the groups.

"The first group will be composed by IKON, SF9 and... THE BOYZ, that means ATEEZ, BTOB and STRAY KIDS will be the other group" Stray kids literally jumped from their seats, after the 2nd round fiasco they would be performing with two of the top groups from the competition plus they would get to know them better.

The next day rolled around and in the early morning you could hear Chan's alarm ringing through the door signalling they would have to wake up to meet their companions for the round.

The dance unit was conformed by the dance racha, without Hyunjin as he was still on hiatus, and the maknae, Jeongin.

To say that the latter was nervous is an understatement. He has never exelled in dance but he was excited to learn and improve.

But his morning was definetely not the best, he woke up shivering and he was increadibly tired, his limbs felt really heavy and his throat felt like sandpaper. He should have noticed he was getting sick when his voice craked during the last performance.

He wasn't sure if he would be able to last all the dance practice before passing out. But as always, he put a smile on his face and continued his day as if he wasn't ten seconds from passing out.

But he couldn't fool everyone, Minho definetly noticed the way he refused breakfast, how he tossed and turned in the car while trying to sleep the sickness off and his shoulders slumping tiredly when they were entering the KQ building.

The older decided to keep a close eye on the maknae during practice just in case but he would let the younger come to him when he was ready.

They spent the first two hours talking and getting to know each other although Jeongin didn't really talk much, his throat was killing him and he didn't want the others to know and worry. But apart from that he was good, the medicine he secretly took at the dorms must be making effect already.

But then the real practice started with Peniel as the leader of the Mayfly dance subunit.

The practice was 6 hours long, within that time they all got the choreografy to 'Wolf' down, all exept Jeongin.

The maknae was struggling to not drop dead on the floor as the medicine had probably worn off by that time.

Minho was getting really worried by then and he was sure the others had noticed too, Jeongin was really pale ang his dancing was sluggish as if he was going to pass out at any moment so he decided to put a stop to it.

He went over to the younger "Innie, take a break, you look like you're going to pass out" Jeongin looked at him with tears in his eyes, letting the facade break down, he just felt so sick he wanted to go home and sleep for the rest of his life.

"Hyung..." he whined and Minho took notice of the scrachy voice

"Hey, what's wrong Innie?"

"Feel icky..." the younger sniffled
