The Light To Their Darkness

~Last night

LUCIANA POV:

"Luciana" I woke up with a jolt as I heard my mom screaming my name which remind me to wake up for school.

I groaned loudly and got out of bed. "Luciana" my mom scream once more in a warning tone.

"I'm up, I'm up" I scream back. Where the hell does she get this type of energy at 6 in the morning??I just woke up and I already want this day to end so that I could meet my lover(my bed dude).

I get my ass out of bed and groaned loudly again but realized something which made me smile widely. It's Friday which means no school tomorrow and after tomorrow.

I took a bath, brush my teeth and put some casual clothes and my pair of black sneakers. I rush downstairs to see my beatiful mom frying some eggs.

Oh and don't worry, my mom was very sweet and caring but I strictly advise you not to be on her bad side. She was absolutely gorgeous to my eyes with her small frame, blonde hair and Grey eyes which I definitely didn't inheritate.

I sometimes ask myself if I got the same eyes as my dad. I also had a lot of questions in my head which I definitely will not ask mom. I remember every time I ask her about my dad or her past, she would tense up and tried to change the topic and I didn't put pressure on her to tell me as I knew that would upset her and I didn't want that at all.

"Good Morning Lucy" my mom voice broke my thoughts. I smile widely at her and reply with a big morning hug.

She smile widely at me and ohh boy what would I not do to make my mom smile like that.

"Hurry up and eat your breakfast or else you will be late for school" my mom said as she put scramble eggs and toast in my plate. I practically devour my breakfast and went to grab my bag upstairs to go to hell aka school. I mean who like school, I may be a straight A's student but that didn't mean I like school.

As I enter the living room, I see my mom already there waiting for me to start her morning speech.

"Honey I will be working late tonight but you don't need to go to the Smith's(Tyler and Tania house) as around 10 o'clock I will already be home. And also don't forget to lo-". She was talking as I cut her off.

"Lock the door and windows well, call you so that you know I reach home safely, come straight home from school and also if I need anything call you or Mrs. Smith(Tyler and Tania's mom)",I finished giving her a smug smile.

She chuckled lightly saying to be a good girl at school, " bye mom, take care and see you later".

"Bye honey and don't forget to be a good girl", she said as she narrowed her eyes at me.

"Of course mum, of course" I replied sarcasm dripping from my voice as I wave at my mom and made my way to School which is 15 mins walk from home.

I arrive at school at eight and as usual I saw two familiar people talking to each other near my locker.

"Heyy bitches" I scream which I got a few weird looks from students around but I didn't care and went to hug both of the them.

They stumbled a little as I caught them off guard and chuckled loudly.

"Lucy!!", Tyler and Tania both scream mimicking me as I rolled my eyes at them.We three are really protective of each other and they treat me as their sister which always make my heart melt.

Just then the bell rings and we three head to class which is math by the way. We all have the same schedule apart that I have italian and they had French language the last period.

The class was so boring. I put my head on the table and close my eyes as I love my sleep and also the teacher doesn't give a damn if your following the class or not.

As I was closer to a Slumber, the evil bell ring making me groan. I drag myself and my bag out of the class waiting for the twins.

I should have prank the teacher so that it would be less boring but I think I will get him next week. We three were talking and Tyler was ranting about some new hot girl and Tania was talking about going shopping as my wardrobe has only grandma's clothes(which is not true the grandma's clothes as she's saying is my comfortable baggy clothes).

Our next class went in a blur as well as lunch and now I was sitting in my Italian class. Only one minute left for class to end.

RING RING

I was one of the first person to leave the classroom. I met the twins at my locker and we bid our goodbye.
Finally, no school tomorrow.

I went home, call mom to tell her I reach safely ( eye roll ) and did my homework, did the dishes and went to watch Netflix with tons of junk food.

THIRD PERSON POV:

For her it was another night chilling, watching television and waiting for Valerie (Lucy's mom) to return home from work. Little did she know that it would be the last time she would be seeing her mom.
