A/N: Okay so I'm going to try and do multiple fanfics at once, and this may start out rough since on the way of writing this I'm still brainstorming, but just see if you like it and... well, we'll see. Oh and by the way (F/D) is favorite doughnut.
I walked down the street, my stomach growling from hunger. I was looking for a place to eat at that I could afford since my sister lost her last bot fight to a boy, and couldn't give me a lot of money. I came across a place that was called The Lucky Cat Cafe, I walked in and sat down at a table in a corner. A lady with brown hair and green eyes came and gave me a menu, sadly the only thing I could get and maybe save for later was doughnuts. "Um four (F/D) doughnuts please," I asked. "Alright." She said and later came back with four doughnuts. "There you go. Is that all?" she asked politely. Then I noticed she was studying my worn out look and dirty looking clothes. "Um yeah thanks." I said and was about to leave when a boy with short black hair and brown eyes brought a plate of wings to my table. My stomach growled again wanting that instead of doughnuts. "Here it's on the house. You look hungry so, I just thought... you may want them." she said. I brushed my bangs away from my face. "Oh thanks but you didn't have to." I said. "Nah don't worry about it." she said smiling and left. The boy smiled at me and then followed her. I didn't think she was pitying me, she was just being genuinely kind so, I ate them grateful that she was so nice since a lot of other restaurant owners were not. When I finished I looked over to the lady and... I guessed her son, to see him staring at me and her talking to him. I began to feel self conscious about my looks since I hadn't washed clothes in... a while. I was glad though my hair was brushed and nicely braided and, besides the clothes, I did have good hygiene. (So what if I snuck into the high school and used their showers? At least I was clean.) The boy quickly looked away and back at his mom. She rolled her eyes then came over to me, oh I hoped she wasn't like some owners who said it was free, but then when I ate the food they wanted me to pay. But that wasn't the case, she walked over and said "I'm Cass, that's my nephew over there hiding named Hiro." and she shook my hand. "Hi I'm (Y/N)." I said. "If you want to stick around, you can." she said. "Oh... um thank you." I said. She smiled at me then walked back to the boy named Hiro. A minute later, Hiro walked over to me and sat down across from me. I immediately built walls up around myself, so I didn't get hurt in case he was like every other person I met. "Hi," he said. "Hi." I said trying to play cool since, he was pretty cute. "So I'm Hiro." he said. "I know your aunt told me." I replied. "So... what's your name." he asked. I glanced into his eyes, then veered my eyes to the floor. "It's (Y/N)" I said. "Nice name." he said. I shrugged. Both of us acted shy, I don't know why he did, but I did because well, those walls I built, began to come down. Sadly though, that's usually when that person leaves, but he seemed, different.
I can't help but say that after that I visited the Lucky Cat Cafe everyday.
