"Hinata, Kageyama, stop running!" Daichi yelled at the two boys, making Tsukishima lightly snicker behind him.

Currently, the Karasuno volleyball team decided to spend their vacation at the beach together. Kamakura beach was something Kiyoko and y/n had their minds set on since they met during their first year.

Kiyoko, Yachi, and y/n were unloading the back of their van, giving bags, boards, or floats to boys that were in arms reach. Ennoshita was talking to Daichi about where they should set up, pointing at different areas of the shore.

"Asahi, can you take this for a second?" Y/n asked, holding out her beach day.

He nodded his head, carefully taking to bag from her hands and holding it in his chest. She sighed in relief before turning back to the van, taking out the last bag of towels and handing it to Yamaguchi, who happily took the handle and put it over his shoulder.

Once the car was fully unloaded, Nishinoya, Tanaka, and Hinata immediately sprinted to the beach, their flip flops hitting the concrete of the parking lot loudly.

Daichi looked at Ennoshita who only just nodded in response. He began to run after the three, trying to settle the three down.

"I'm excited! This is my first time at the beach." Y/n said to Asahi, reaching for her bag but but for him to pull it away and put it on his arm.

"I'll carry it for you." He said, smiling down at her. "I came here my first year when the third years brought all of us after the season ended. You'll love it." Asahi put his arm around her shoulder, lightly pulling her body into his and kissing the top of her head before they walked off.

Kiyoko and Yachi watched them walk off behind the team, lightly fangirling that the two were together.

Surprisingly, y/n was the one to confess. It was during their second year in mathematics class. Y/n approached him with a nervous smile, a small red envelop hiding in between her hands. After lots of motivation from Kiyoko, she handed the envelop to Asahi and stood there in fear at his response.

Asahi got even more nervous than y/n, but he accepted her confession.

It only took one date before the two started dating. She was by his side through everything from the coach Ukai's harsh practices to the Date Tech game that had him take a long break from volleyball.

She was also one of the reasons he came back, it was refreshing to see her in the stands behind Kiyoko cheering for him and the team. Since only one manager was allowed on the bench, y/n happily let Kiyoko stay on the floor as the more experienced one of the two.

Asahi and y/n walked over to where Ennoshita and Sugawara were laying down towels and Daichi struggling to get the umbrella opened.

The group was having a great time, learning about their teammates and managers. Y/n would sit in her chair talking to the other managers about how it was nice to see everyone blowing over some steam.

The boys would invite y/n in to swim with them and when she kept saying no politely, Asahi picked her up out of her chair and carried her in. She didn't mind, enjoying the feeling of the cold water on such a hot day.

After playing in the water for a while and stealing Nishinoya's board, y/n hopped on and swam deeper into the water, the group not realizing it. Once she made it to a good distance, she stopped and sat up, looking out in the water for a wave to surf over.
