Friendship or Love 『 Childe x Zhongli 』

≪ 3. Fever ≫

After a while, Zhongli called Childe to come to the kitchen to eat the food he had prepared for him. As Childe walked out of the room, he observed a lot of things in his house that seemed a little strange. As Childe looked into one of Zhongli's wall he noticed something displeasing.

  "Why does Zhongli have a picture of himself and a woman here? He never told me he was dating-"

  "What are you looking at?"

  Zhongli asked at the end of the hallway with a confused stare. Childe jumped back a little, surprised.

  "Nothing!! I was just gazing into space," Childe said with a smile. "Let's go eat now."

  As Childe walked into the kitchen he saw a few red bean buns and a kettle of tea on the kitchen table. Without thinking twice, Childe took a bite out of one of the buns.
  "Owh, iwet tashtes ghwood!" Childe said while eating one of the buns.

  "Don't mind if try a bite, Childe." Zhongli bit into the opposite side of Childe's red bean bun, faces close to each other.

  Childe couldn't process what had happened only after a few seconds. His face lit a bright red, seeing Zhongli's face so close to his. He stared at Zhongli with awe, admiring his looks. Zhongli asked,

  "Does this bother you-"
 
  "NO NOT AT ALL- I mean, of course not Zhongli. Does the red bean bun taste alright?" Childe said.

  Zhongli took a sip of his tea, staring at Childe in shock. He then smiled and chuckled a little.

  "Your acting so cute Childe, why so startled?"

  "What"

  "What?" Zhongli asked.
 
  Childe just sat in his seat staring at Zhongli and then yelled,

  "I REALLY GOTTA PEE I'LL BE BACK ZHONGLI" Childe then ran to the bathroom and slammed the door close.

  Childe thinking Zhongli was the oblivious one had yet to realise, that this was exactly what Zhongli had intended to do.
