"Really...? Well if you insist, then it'd be rude for me to not take the offer."

Y/N quickly nodded before temporarily letting go of Sunwoo to gather her things. The girl slipped on her bag then held her brother's hand on her right before walking over to Sunwoo.

"You can wrap your arm around me and use me as a crutch." she suggested. The boy simply complied. He wasn't complaining whatsoever, and was actually enjoying himself. Haknyeon could only laugh and shake his head, seeing right through his friend's act.

"Hak, it's getting pretty dark so I'll get him going now. Are you sure you don't need anymore help here?" she asked, turning back to the café owner. Sunwoo also turned his head, his face pleading with his friend to say no.

Haknyeon wasn't stupid, he knew exactly what was going on with Sunwoo.

The owner shook his head. "No, I'll manage. You three get home safe though."

Just like that, the three said goodbye before leaving the store. Sunwoo of course had to mouth a small "ILY" to his friend before the group had left the café completely.

The night had completely taken over, though the breeze that blew through the air was completely relaxing. "I think I can walk a bit better now." Sunwoo said, feeling quite bad for the girl to carry his weight. Plus, that kid was giving him the biggest death stare ever. Sunwoo kept getting chills whenever he looked down at him.

"Are you sure?" Y/N asked, looking over at the boy only for him to hum a small 'yes'. Y/N didn't push on it further, assuming that he'd come back to her if he was still having trouble.

The walk was quite silent. It wasn't suffocating though. There wasn't a lingering feeling of awkwardness between them at all. Oddly, it was more like comfort. Like they weren't meant to meet. The pair were silent until they started to talk about themselves.

They figured they would be seeing each often and didn't find the harm in making a new friend, or possibly more as Sunwoo hoped.

While Sunwoo had already learned most of what Y/N told him about her from Haknyeon, Y/N was learning more about him. Why Sunwoo's working a part time job like this, where he studied, what he studied, things like that.

To Sunwoo's sad surprise they had finally arrived to his dormitory.

"Well, I guess this is where we part ways," Y/N said, shoving her hands into her jacket's pockets. "Ah, right..." Sunwoo trailed off, he seemed to have had something else to say, but he couldn't quite remember it. "If that's it, I guess I'll be leaving then." Y/N interrupted his thoughts, grabbing her brother's hand again before turning to leave.

"Wait!" Sunwoo called. The girl turned back. "You shouldn't go home on your own, it's not safe." He said, though it wasn't the thing that he was trying to remember. "Hold up," he paused, walking up to the street, flagging down a cab.

One pulled up by the curb and Sunwoo jogged over to it. The driver had rolled down his shotgun window as Sunwoo talked to him. The boy had slipped in money for the trip before opening the door and gesturing with his hand for the girl and her brother to get in. Y/N smiled, "Thank you so much, and I'm so sorry again. I'll make sure Junseo doesn't stand anywhere around you," she sighed, watching as her brother scooted all the way into the car. "Kids will be kids, I guess." Sunwoo shrugged.

"But yeah, you get home safe, okay?" he said as final farewell, but just as he was about to leave, Y/N grabbed a hold of his wrist.

"Hey um, about that date. I'd love to go one of those.. with you," the boy's ears perked up. Did he really hear he properly right now? Y/N looked down at the floor nervously, her hands fiddling with each other.

"..a date."
