It's a rainy day in June, walking along these corridors of the school campus that is filled with students, I still feel lonely.
"Yoo Adi!" I hear a familiar voice shouting my name, and as I turn to my back to see who it is, someone bumped into me which made my tote bag and the journals inside fall, he did not even bothered to apologize.
"You good?" Mark Lee, probably the only friend I have, immediately helped me pick up the journals that fell.
"Morning, Markeu," I greeted him with a small smile and he does the same and just ruffled my hair.
"Sorry about him, he wasn't in good mood either back in the dorm," I looked at the direction from where the voice came from and it's no other than the tall and handsome, Johnny Suh. With his long hair naturally styled, his well built body and neatly ironed school uniform, also plus the fact that he's the top student of their class, I could say that Johnny Suh is that 'good guy' in high school that every girl likes.
"It's... okay," I told Johnny and Mark clinged onto me and started walking me to my class.
Walking with these two men would surely gather up attention. With Mark being a famous bassist and is also up for a vocal/singing role in a band, his rakista and pop punk image surely captures the heart of many. Johnny Suh, on the other hand, looks like a prince charming.
But you said he did, too...
The eyes of the girls bore into me, they looked at me with these two men walking beside me as if I won the damn lottery.
"Have you had breakfast?" Mark suddenly asked, I just nodded because I drank milk, and I guess that can be considered as breakfast... right?
"What did you have for breakfast?"
"A glass of milk," they looked at each other and Mark face-palmed while Johnny looked over his wrist watch to check the time, only to find out we're about to be late.
"Johnny! Mark!" Lucas Wong, that giant and top player in the school's varsity basketball team, "oh, with the one and only, Adrien Yoo," with his pearly whites always shown, I don't think I have seen Lucas stop smiling and to tell you, his smiles are contagious. I just smiled at him.
Mark got a lot of friends, two of them are Johnny and Lucas, and me being dragged by him for almost 24/7, I get to meet them, like all of them, all the time.
"In you go, Yoo," the three of them stood infront of my classroom door and just watched me go inside, Lucas and I are in the same class for this year and Mark will probably use him as an excuse just to go here in our classroom just to check on me or just annoy me, (not that I find Mark annoying... just sometimes)
I settled and sat down at the back part of the classroom, beside Lucas' seat. The bell then rang, I saw Mark wave at me and Johnny just plastered a small smile and mouthed to me that they are now going.
Lucas settled down beside me, his seat is beside the windows, how lucky. I sat there quietly, just scribbling random stuff on one of my journals. Until a familiar scent filled my nose, with my heart racing, starting to be filled with nervousness and anxiety, and my mind filled with questions like what is he doing in here. He put down his bag beside my seat, all the girls inside the class looked at him in awe, as if he was some sort of a Saint or an angel, I glanced at him only to see that he's staring at me shamelessly..
Jung Jaehyun is staring at me, the man who asked me to play a game no one should be playing is staring at me.
