Chapter 5

(24 years before the main story of the seven deadly sins)

"Sir Fang you are charged with the destruction of the kingdom of Golt along with the murder of all of its residence. How to you plead to these allegations that have been brought before you speak now sir Fang" A knight said. "No matter what I tell you will never believe what I say the fear you have for me won't allow it" I said in despair. "It doesn't matter what sir Fang did I will take him in and keep an eye on him" A voice said. "No way its the caption of the seven deadly sins Meliodas" A knight said in aw. "Sir Meliodas their are already seven sins why do you want to save sir Fang as well" another said. "That's for me to know and you to stay out of I already talked to Bartra about all of this so its fine" Meliodas said from behind me. I was released from the cuffs and turned to see Meliodas smiling the knights also left. "It's good to see you again sir Fang its been what 3000 years since we last met" Meliodas said. "I'm sorry to say Meliodas but I don't remember ever meeting you before so I don't recall meeting you" I replied. "Well you used to be my mentor back then and trained me as a sword fighter though I don't know about the rest of your past" Meliodas said. I trained this him 3000 years ago this must be another fragment of my past. Though their is still more to find out my past I want to find out more and find out why I can't remember my past. "I'm sorry sir Meliodas I don't remember ever training you I have no memories of my past and I can't remember what happened 3000 years ago" I replied. He looked at me confused and the smiled and laughed at me. "Its alright Fang though lets see how well you can still fight. If I win you become a member of the Seven deadly sins the 8th sin the wolf sin of fear. Though if you win you can leave and go and find out more about your past or live peacefully with Rylie" Meliodas said with a smile. "Alright sir Meliodas I accept though just to remind you every opponent I've fought is scared of me" I replied. "Strength 1000, Spirit 4000, Magic 5000 for a total of 10,000 compared the caption Fang you have no chance of wining" A voice said. "Who are you and why are you saying that I'm going to lose this battle" I said in anger. "I am Merlin the boar sin of gluttony" Merlin said from behind me. "Lets just get this battle started and will see who wins the fight" Meliodas said with a smile. I didn't have a weapon well Meliodas had a sword on is back with a dragon handle. "Alright I don't have a weapon though like I need one so now blackout" I said. "I can't see anything its like it became night all of a sudden wait this is Fangs Magical power better known as Darkness" Merlin said. I channeled all of my darkness to my body and absorbed it allowing me to enter into a new form that I called dark mode. My body would be covered by darkness and become armor and weapons I could use to fight my opponents. That's when I noticed Meliodas also went through a change as well and that's when a small fragment of my memory came back. "This is your a assault form something that everyone feared because of how much power you had" I said. Then I noticed his sword the blade was broken though I then remembered his magical power full counter. It didn't matter that his blade was broken as long as he was able to use full counter any magical attacks would be directed back at me. "I see you finally remember who am Fang I'm glad though you were the only one not afraid of this form" Meliodas replied.  "I'm still not afraid of this form of yours Meliodas in fact it makes you look weaker in my eyes" I replied with a laugh. We started fighting with Merlin watching all of are moves and waiting for something to happen. Merlin was up to something I knew she was and I had to stop her from carrying out her plan at all costs. I finally got the better of Meliodas and had him pinned to the ground and he looked me in the eyes. "Alright Fang you have won this fight you may go on and do what ever you want" Meliodas said. "I'm not going to leave I want to join the seven deadly sins as the 8th sin the wolf of fear. Because I feel like you sins are the key to regaining my memories from 3000 years ago" I said as I helped Meliodas stand. "Fang to let you know the only ones that will know you exist are the seven deadly sins them selves and King Bartra alright" Meliodas said. "I understand Meliodas besides I want to be hidden all I've wanted since I became the grandmaster of Golt was to protect Rylie. If it means that I become a member of the seven deadly sins then that is the path that I will take. Everything I do is to protect the women I love with all my heart so I will do it no matter what it takes" I said.  After we finished talking I met the other sins I would be working one of them being Ban the fox sin of greed who drank from the fountain of youth. Next was the Fairy King who was the grizzly sin of sloth, Diane a giant and the serpent sin of envy, Gowther a human and the goat sin of lust. Finally the last sin another human known as Escanor who had amazing magical power during the day but at night was the weakest man alive.  Escanor was the oppiste of me where his magical power was good in the day well mine was better during the night. "Sir Fang I have a gift for you since you are joining the seven deadly sins" King Bartra said as he handed me a sword. The sword he handed me was my sacred treasure better known as knight blade. The sword would absorb darkness during the day and night and allow me to access my night time power during the day.
