Zeera's POV:
It's the night of my 16th birthday and my and my friends are planning to go out to a club. I know it sounds like I'm some party girl but I'm not. Typically I'm just reading or writing on a Friday night but I'm turning 16 and come on what's the worst that could happen. We are picking out our clothes for the club as my mom knocks on the door. ITS OPEN! I shout. My mom walks in with a small box in her hands. What's that? I ask its your birthday gift. She replies. But you already gave me my gift I say confused. It was one of then this is she other she says. Oh okay. She hands my the box telling me to open it. In the box I find a bracelet and a necklace. The bracelet is a woven leather bracelet with a magnetic clasp on the clasp are runes engraved into it. The necklace was a simple silver chain with a pentagram pendant. They are beautiful I exclaim. I'm glad h like then would you like help putting them on she asks seeing me struggle with the necklace. Yes please. I say. Thank you for this they are amazing. Your welcome happy birthday. She says. she walks out and we get ready to leave.
Cela's (zeera's mom) POV:
I am scared for my daughter. Those peices of jewelry might not be enough. You probably think I'm going nuts so let me explain. Our family isnt exactly normal. We are pure bloodline of supernatural creatures and beings. I am a vampire and a witch a hybrid. My husband is a werewolf. So it's only natural for zeera to come Into an inheritance of creature blood. Those peices of jewelry wre meant to protect her from harm. Being a supernatural being isnt easy its quite dangerous. She has no idea about any of this which is why I will explain it tomorrow when she is home and its just the family. Let's just hope she isnt taken or hurt by the nutricii mortis (the bringers of death). I'm worried but the jewelry should keep her safe. She is to important to this family and our world to die or get hurt.
