Chapter 2

Alyssa's POV

We waited for our food to come, Phenix entered again to the dinner, nothing looked odd. He sat down and sighed.

"You alright bud?"

Said Quinn.

"Yeah... I think I don't know ... umm my grandma died."

He said with no worry, I felt bad for him, but I felt as if I shouldn't feel that way because he himself didn't feel that way.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry for your loss!"

Said Roxy.

"Yeah I'm sorry to do you need something?"

Said Conan , while placing his hand on Phoenix's  shoulder.

"No I'm fine, I guess it already had happened in my head.... Like I already went through the grieving."

"Oh okey, well if you need anything tell us ok?"

Iren said with worry, he just nodded. By that time out food had already arrived.

"Thank you Minny!"

Said Conan

We all got our plates and drinks, it was our usual, we all ordered the same thing all the time, it's kinda lame but we never get tired of this food. This place has so much meaning to us. Its where we officially became a friend group! If you want a little back story I will do the honors.

I'm not going to do the "once upon a time" shit because that's lame as fuck but let me get to the God damn point.... ANYWAYS.

So like any typical hot ass summer day in 2012, All the little rat kids played in the park, which is across the street from the dinner. Our little annoying asses where playing there, separately with our dirt, toys, dolls etc.

Me and my little sister Sam were hungry and had like, a small ass amount of money like probably 5 dollars.. yeah a shit ton of money. Well we headed to the dinner, yes my parents let us cross the street, mm well IF I was with my sister bc I was a boss ass bitch at 9 🙄.

ANYWAYS, well we headed to the dinner and, we entered, I told my sister to sit in the table with the cushions, she sat in the first one right next to the door. I ordered, a burger with bacon , small fries, and a doctor pepper 😫 delicious shit😋 well I order Minny gave me my things and I headed to my table. When I sat down, someone walked through the door oh what a surprise the popular ass bitch Roxy, and the class cutie Conan, then we're the 3rd grade couple🤨(their relationship lasted 1 week... WORLD RECORD EVERYONE!!!!)

Well they grabbed their stuff and stared right at me, they came and sat in my table. I was just confused.

"Omg hey, you are Alyssa right, omg you won the talent show right? Omg you sing so good!"

Roxy said obnoxiously, I was annoyed if her she was so girly, and pink and... rich, in the other hand Conan kept looking at his reflection in the glass window.

"So? You are that girl right?"
Roxy asked,

"Oh yeah, and thanks I guess"

Meanwhile I said that , this tiny little boy with big glasses came in the door. It was Phenix, he ordered something and sat in the table next to us, he was all alone... it was so depressing.. but thought nothing of it.

" OH THERE ARE MY FRIENDS, ILL GO SIT WITH THEM!"

Sam said, and left the table. Now it was just me , Roxy who kept chatting, and Conan who was to self centered.

"OMGGG THATS THE KID WITH THAT PLAYED THE PIANO CONAN!"

"Hey kid come here! Sit with us!!"

Roxy said.

Here we go again. Conan still didn't acknowledge anything Roxy said.
Phenix looked over and mouthed 'me' Roxy nodded, and signaled her had to come over. Phenix with food in his mouth and big glasses slipping off his nose, grabbed his plate and drink and came to sit with us.

"Hi, I'm Phenix."

He said quietly.

"Hi I'm Roxy this is Conan and... Alyssa !"

She said while putting her hand out.

Phenix shook her hand and said " yeah I know who you two are."

Conan now stopped looking at himself, like if he was satisfied with his looks. Like kid you look like a baby ass what are you looking for, what are you unhappy with?!

We all began eating when this girl and boy walked in, SURPRISE it was Iren and Quinn, they had met that day but earlier at the park. They ordered, and well Quinn was one of the popular ones too, so him and Conan where best friends. They saw each other, and well they came to sit with us. My little 9 year old introverted ass didn't want anything to do with this shit I was so annoyed I just wanted to eat in peace.

Well Iren and Quinn sat in our table and Iren introduced herself.

"Hi I'm Iren! Oh Roxy I like your shoes!"

Iren said with excitement.

"Thank you! I like your nail color."

Roxy said.

"Look we all have the same orders!"

Conan said, we all noticed and laughed. Roxy started the conversation and we all noticed we had a lot in common. Then a little girl with beautiful hair, and amazing style came over to say hi, it was Marlyn.

We all welcomed her to our table, we all opened up about our selfs and did little 9 year old shit. After we all finished our meals we headed out, we were going to the park again. Conan rapped his arms around Iren's shoulders and she did the same around mine, we all continued doing that, till we where in a straight line. Then Phenix said.

"Have you guys heard the song "Never ganna give you up"?"

He said, we all nodded yes. Conan started singing, and we all sang after, and skipped to the park. We let go and started dancing.
