" That'll be $28.69" I say to the man in front of me with a fake smile
"Wow 69 such an interesting number huh" the old man smirks handing me a $50 bill making sure his old crusty hand grazed mine
"Yeah its about how old you are huh" I say with a smile handing him his change
"Bitch" he says flicking me off and walking- excuse me hobbling out of the store
"I've been called worse by better" I yell out as he leaves the store this always happens a weird old man thinks he can hit on me a young vibrant woman and once I decline I'm the bad guy.
"Excuse me ma'am could you grab me something out of the case over here" a voice asks nervously
"I just need the one on the top shelf" the girl asks slightly embarrassed I turn towards her with a smile
"I work in a sex store trust me I'm not judging you for buying a dildo" I say chuckling
"Right I'm sorry its just my first time in a place like this" the girl says we have a little conversation as she checks out. When she leaves I grab my things preparing to clock out when I run into my boss.
"Hey Melody glad I caught you I'm going to need you to close tonight Mark called in" my boss says
"That's not my issue Phil I've been covering for him the past two days either fire him and find someone else or pay me more" I say annoyed
"Listen I'll pay you time and a half if you stay tonight please" he says practically begging me

"Fine" I say "But tonight is the last time" I say seriously before heading back behind the register preparing for six more hours of work, I make a mental note to strangle Mark the next time I see him.

I hear the bell on the top of the door ring indicating that someone had walked in five minutes before closing oh joy.
"Excuse me but we close in about five minutes"I say annoyed
"Trust me I'm not a man who needs toys to make my woman feel good" I hear a husky voice say
Turning around I lock eyes with the most breathtaking man I've ever seen he has on all black and his tattoos are mouthwatering he demeanor screams power realizing I'm staring the poor man down I snap back into reality.
"Then why are you here?" I ask crossing my arms trying not to show how nervous I am
"I'm just here to see Phil" the man states crossing his arms leaving his
mouthwatering muscles on display
"Uh he left a while ago do you want me to leave a message for him?" I ask nervously
"No thank you gorgeous" he smirks sending me a wink then turning around to walk out of the store.
I immediately let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and rush to lock the door behind him what could he possibly need to see Phil about? And why did he have to be so fucking hot?
Sighing I turn the open sign off and head out locking the door behind me.I check my phone to see three missed calls from me friend Sanya plus a voicemail which I decided to play.
"COME OUT TONIGHT I DONT WANNA HEAR THE I'M TIRED CRAP EITHER COME HAVE FUN AND UNWIND I'LL TEXT YOU THE ADDRESS YOU BETTER BE HERE BY TWELVE SEE YOU MUAH"she yells before hanging up
"This girl" I say chuckling to myself
