Nandi Ganesh Pooja

~Next Day

It is the day when Aryan needs to do Nandi Ganesh Pooja like, in all other communities, the bride and the groom will offer their prayers to the Lord Ganesha for hassle-free and a glittering wedding function to happen. Both the bride and the groom will perform Nandi Ganesh Pooja separately before the wedding day. Since Lord Ganesha is considered the god of happiness who brings good omens, the Rajasthani people give prime importance to this ritual. You can find an idol of Lord Ganesha in most of the rituals associated with Rajsthani wedding ceremonies. So let's see what is happening at Aryan's side

~At Aryan's side

"Bhai-sa ye, iska kya karu?" Aryan asked

"Ruk ye aise pehente hai" Sushant said while placing a piece of cloth around Aryan's neck

"Arey waah devar-sa bade handsome lag rahe ho," Priyanka said while entering the room

"To hai hi mera bhai handsome," Sushant said

"Accha accha chalo ab niche" Priyanka said and they went downstairs

"Aa gaya mera baccha," His mother said while cupping his cheeks. He touched every elder's feet and sat in front of the priest, on a stool

~At Sanchi's side

"Lado dekh itna tight thik hai?" Minakshi asked while tying the knot to Sanchi's blouse

"Ji aunty ye thik hai" Sanchi said with a warm smile

"Aunty Pandit ji bula rahe hai," Shivangi said while entering Sanchi's room

"Oye hoye meri jaan kya kamaal lag rahi hai," Shivangi said while hugging Sanchi

"Thank you," Sanchi smiled

"Isme koi nayi baat hai? Meri bacchi humesha hi acchi lagti hai" Minakshi said

"Haa haa of course, par traditional ki baat ki alag hai" Shivangi said.

"Chalo ab niche chalte hai Pandit ji rah dekh rahe honge" Meenakshi said and took Sanchi downstairs. All the eyes were on her as she walked downstairs.

"Sab nazar laga denge ab tujhe huh," Shivangi whispered meanwhile Sanchi squinted her eyes.

"Thu thu thu," Shivangi did.

"Pehele sab bado ke aashirwaad lijiye," The priest said meanwhile Sanchi nodded and touched Minakshi and Sudeep's feet. She touched Shivangi's parent's feet and at last, touched the priest's feet.

"Khush raho," The priest said and asked her to sit on the stool in front of him.

"Chalo shuru karte hai, aap haath jod lijiye," Priest said and started chanting mantras. He applied tilak on her forehead. He performed Ganesh Pooja and told the importance of this ritual. Sanchi carefully listens to everything. The same was at Aryan's side. The priest applied tilak on his forehead and performed Ganesh Pooja, telling the importance of it

Soon, the priest stopped chanting the mantras and the Nandi Ganesh Pooja got over. 

"Ab kuch samay pashchyat Palla Janev ki rasam hove hai tab tak bind haath jodkar Ganesh ji ki aaradhna kare," The priest said and got busy in his work meanwhile Aryan, like a sincere child, joint his hands but his brothers won't let him breathe peacefully. Sushant pulled out his mobile meanwhile Kinshuk whispered in Aryan's ear

"Dekho to SANCHI kitni pyaari lag rahi hai!" He said intentionally. Aryan tried to ignore but Basant made him more desperate by saying

"Kuch bhi kaho par SANCHI saree mein badi sundar lagti hai," Aryan closed his eyes tightly and tried to focus on his aaradhana but Sushant again put fuel in the fire

"Arey arey par dekho na Aryan to dekh hi nahi sakta ki uski bindani kitni khubsoorat lag rahi hai par koi baat nahi hum hi dekh lete hai wo to aaradhana kar raha hai na," Sushant said and was about to put his mobile in his pocket but Aryan snatched the mobile and saw her pictures.

"Wow," Was the only word which escaped his lips. While at Sanchi's side, the priest tied a thread around her wrist and fixed it with seven knots. Here, Aryan's phone was snatched by his mother. He pouted angrily meanwhile his mother squinted her eyes. The priest again asked for everyone's attention. The priest chanted mantras and tied a holy thread around his wrist and asked Aryan's dad to make him wear Janev 

After all this, Aryan's family went to Sanchi's place and gave her blessings. Both families exchanged gifts, sweets and jewellery and printed holy symbols on their houses.
