The flash that followed the booming thunder was blinding. I snuggled deeper into my warm bed. I am so glad, today is Friday, and I got all my homework done at school. Crack, flash. I would never be able to get any sleep with this storm. It's deafening and blinding. I can't wait till it's over. I've been trying to sleep for hours it seemed. I'm still so glad that it's Friday night, and there's no school tomorrow.
I reached over and started rummaging through my night stand. I know I had my phone somewhere. My fingers brushed it, I grabbed my phone, and I immediately brought it to me. I pressed the home button and the bright light shone right into my face. If you were outside my room, there would be a soft glow coming from my room. I checked the time and put my phone back. I really just wanted to fall asleep.
I woke up the next morning, looked at my clock and closed my eyes again, then I fell back into a dreamless sleep. I woke up again to my curtains being pulled open, and sunlight hitting my face. I groaned and rolled over onto my stomach. My mom said,
"Come on sweetie, it's 10:25, time to get up." I replied by moaning in my pillow. My mom than said,
" Alright, 5 more minutes." I nodded and fell asleep again, for the third time this morning. I woke up again by someone shaking me. I rolled over and fell off my bed, landing face first in my soft baby blue rug.
Sorry, but this chapter sucks. Don't judge me it's my first story I've written, also I promise I will update soon, and sorry for my grammar mistakes, I'm learning about editing in school, so maybe my grammar and spelling mistakes will get better. Until next time, also this story has already been written by me so it's finished I just got to keep updating, like I've already said until next time.
