I have a contest coming up the price is 1000 buckeroos and the opportunity to study string theory at a leading institute.
My family still have there panties in a twist apparently I am too disrespectful just because I pointed out there blatant sexism. They of course denied and I might have called them too stupid to participate in self reflecting. I say this to say I haven't spoken to them in two weeks.
I decided to eat dinner with the family again I didn't want to be the awkward person with no one there for them so it's time for me to make "amends"
"Hello" I said smiling
"So you finally decided to end that fit of yours" my father asked
"It wasn't a fit I was studying"
Silence
"Studying for what?" I asked in my best boy voice.
Roman raised his eyebrows
"Well since you asked I have a contest coming up. When you may ask next weekend"
"Can we come please" my boy voice again
"No need to beg if you want to come that much you are all invited"
"So you want us to come to your contest" Lucas asked
"What even is it about" Aiden piped in
"Pure math with some science"
