"Max!!" I can't believe it. It's Max. I speed walk towards where she's sitting. "Oh my God, Julie!!" I lean in for a hug. Max, my best friend. We met last year on a trip to Cali. We have been best friends since. "What on Earth are you doing here?" I ask, still confused by this whole situation. She then smiles at me. "My dad, he got offered a job here" "Why didn't you tell me?" I ask, confused why she hadn't told me. "Well, It was supposed to be a surprise but I didn't count on being in the same homeroom as you" She laughs. "Well, that doesn't matter. You're here!!" We both jump excitedly. The teacher walks in. A short women with blonde hair up to her shoulders. "Ladies? Please take a seat, class will begin shortly"
