" This is boring," I threw a paper plane I made out the window and ended hitting a boy in the head with it by accident. " What's boring?" Lloyd asked. " Being inside," I pouted, " Why can't we go out again?" Lloyd shrugged, " No clue, the principal just said to stay in our room." Lloyd folded his blanket just to pass time. " Wack." I started to climbed up and sat in the window. Lloyd quickly pulled me back. I hit the ground, "Ow! What was that for?!" " I didn't want you to fall forward!" he said worriedly.
I sigh, " You're too sweet sometimes. Hard to believe you belong in this school." I joke. Lloyd hit my shoulder, " I so belong in this school!" " Yeah yeah," I snicker. Lloyd pouted. I sat on my bed, " Awww, don't be a baby." I stuck out my tongue. " I'm not a baby!" Lloyd crossed his arms. " I'm just joking Lloyd!" I laughed. " You're mean." Lloyd pouted. " You kinda have to be when you're gonna be Ninjagos next ruler," I put my hands on my hips.
" Like you'd rule, I'll be Ninjagos next ruler!" Lloyd said cockily. " What makes you good enough? Just because your father is Garmadon, who barely has done anything, doesn't make you bad enough to rule." " Don't talk about my dad like that!" Lloyd shouted. " He is a wonderful villain! A true ruler! Hmpf!" Lloyd got a bit angry. " Yeah yeah, don't be too mad. Perhaps when he does another attack I'll think of him as a true villain." I laid back in my bed.
" You should think of him as a true villain now!" Lloyd sat next to me. " He will rule Ninjago! He is the best!" " If he's the best why has he left you here?" I asked. Lloyd went silent for a bit. " Um, it was his fault. It was my mom." Lloyd looked down. I sat back up, " Hey, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that." I felt bad now. " I-I'm not sad about it! I don't care! When my dad comes back he'll get me!" Lloyd piped up. I smiled, " Bet."
Lloyd smiled as Brad came into the room," Hey, the principal said you two can come out but he wants to see Lloyd," Brad told us. " What for?" Lloyd asked, getting up. Brad shrugged, " I don't know but I don't think it's good." Brad walked away after telling us that. Lloyd gulped, " What did I do?" He asked himself. " I walk with you." I put my hand on his shoulder, getting up as well. Lloyd smiled at me as we walked out of the room. " Thanks (Y/n). " Yeah yeah, lets go."
I walked through the school with him until we reached the principal's office. A teacher stopped me from going any further and Lloyd hesitantly went into the principal's office. I sat outside the door and waited for Lloyd. A teacher walked over and asked what I was doing. " Waiting," I said simply. They suggested going out to play but I repeated I was waiting.
When Lloyd finally walked out, I could tell he was holding back tears. " Lloyd? What's wrong?" I asked. Lloyd kept trying to hold back his tears. " I-I have to go," He wiped his eye. " What do you mean?" I grabbed his hand. " I-I'm being kicked out." He told me. My eyes widened, " Wait why?" " H-He said I-I lacked the amoral ambition t-to be one of tomorrow's masterminds," Lloyd remarked. " So you're being kicked out for that? Don't they know you have nowhere to go?" I asked. " They don't care," Lloyd said sadly.
I tried to ask him something else but the assistant principal walked out. They said nothing but took Lloyds hand and took him to the school doors. " Hey!" I followed behind. " Go play sweetie," The assistant principal told me as they forced Lloyd outside and out the school area. They tried to drag me back inside. I complied but the moment they let me go and walked away, I ran outside. I found Lloyd who was walking away from the school. " Lloyd!" I shouted.
He turned and looked at me. " Why are you out here too?" He asked, tears were running down his cheeks now. " Like I'd let you leave by yourself. If they kick you out, they kick me out!" I grabbed his hand. " Now, where too?" I smiled. Lloyd looked at me with his big watery eyes. He smiled, " Thank you." " Don't mention it. Come on, let's go." I walked with him and comforted Lloyd. He was still crying but not as bad.
" Can't believe they kicked you out without letting you get yourself," I mentioned. " You didn't get your stuff either," Lloyd mentioned. " That was my choice dumb dumb." I snicker. " What did I have? A few changes of clothes, my uniform, one plushie, and a candle. I rather be with you and not have you alone." I smiled. That made Lloyd cry harder. I stopped walking and tried to wipe his tears but he just hugged me.
I pat his back as Lloyd sobbed into me. " Hey, Lloyd, it's ok." I tried to comfort him. From talking and just being at the same school as him, I knew he didn't really have friends aside from Brad. So I guess me being so friendly and risking things just to make sure he wasn't alone and was ok just made him really happy he cried. Lloyd pulled away and wiped his eyes, " Thank you (Y/n). Thank you for being my friend."
