Mortals were creatures of greed and selfish desires. Pirates were the devils of them all. The overwhelming want of taking gold that was hidden in the depths of the sea reached their hearing and were seeked for the treasure. Pirates blinded by their desires ignored the waves that ached for hungry human blood. Ignored the pleas of sparing lives. Ignored a wave rising above their ships and sinking them down to drown. Ignoring the siren and his accomplice, the giant squid who squirms with excitement at the sight of the frightened mortals. The siren kisses the long tentacle of his company and nods with a smile. They will see their treasure but with their tongues ripped out, eyes wide in fright and their neck snapped by long suction of tentacles.
CHAPTER THREE
— desires blinding mortal eyeSirens are valued for their lureful songs that bestow great power, hidden in the depths of the deep blue sea, protected with the most mysterious species on their side, and with their fins being put on auction for high prices on land sirens were extremely praised. Now lays or should Taehyung say stood, Jeon Jungkook. On human feet alongside his subject of mermaids. The siren glares at the group of newly dry soldiers and their King at the gaping expressions. The siren was not indecent nor was his subjects, the merman all wore blouses with the blues of their sea, tight dress pants, pearls decorating their lengthy teal fin-like ears with gold decorating their clawed fingers. Their siren looked like the epitome of a God with the greens and blue shades merging together as shimmering diamonds lay across the curves of the crown, pearls studded down to the small details with seams of gold and lace, blue long fins stick out like colorful wings of a Queen fairy, Taehyung thoughts of Nadia flickers in his head.
The crown radiated power as if the object belonged to Jungkook, as if he was destined to be a ruler of the sea long before anyone could bare the thought. Blue crystals of lapis, angelite, and sapphire shine as jewelry for the siren hanging on his blue lobe, a long tight sheer like blouse seams perfectly with the sapphire silks and white pants. The siren was all that a young human woman desired. To see that from a man is a shock but Taehyung reminds his brain that the mythical creature that glares before him is..
Not a mortal.
For the sharp claws that gleam from his fingertips and the vivid blue that erupted from the siren eyes once the gawking would not stop reminded the King just that, that this creature who stands before him is not a mortal, but a mortal eater. Fear strikes his spine.
"Sirens and mermaids have the power to turn human at any time, we refuse to do so unless necessary since our own detestation overcomes the will to turn into a mortal." Jungkook sneers with such distaste from afar turning to his subjects, the King could feel the bitterness rise in the bob of his neck. The siren no longer inherits his gorgeous hues of sapphire orbs now replaced with light of dark copper coins. His hair however still shines the color of protection like armor, his scales remain decorated only on his high cheekbones. He stands on two lengthy legs with toned thighs, his skin absorbing the sunlight. He seemed content inhaling the sea salt scent of his island. The island, that was just a mere myth to the eyes of mortals or any creature that posed a threat to Jungkook's family.
The siren holds his mermaids dear to him; any being was aware of how he held them in his clawed hands and reassured them with a small smile. A true ruler only smiles even when their fate is nearing to hellfire. Taehyung's mother words ring in his mind like a familiar melody, he averts his gaze at the warm sight that filled his heart with heartbreaking images of scarlet-red liquid smeared on his small hands. Engrossing his mind with the stench of the blue sea and the beautiful sights of the sirens island.
The hues of the blue ocean writhing at the disparted ruler, who no longer lays his fin in the glorious waves. Taehyung intrigued into the way he can almost feel the growling forlorn waves aching for their ruler to come back. He feasts his eyes on the siren demeanor, catching sight of how underneath the smiles he releases out for solace of his people. Gathering the epiphany that the sea creature yearned at the sea as well, desolate overfilling the once crystal-sapphire orbs before quickly diminishing.
