I sat on my bed. way to start the month, I forgot my best friend's boyfriend's birthday was today. Why does that even Matter to me? oh yeah I almost forgot I'm literally in love with my best friend. it hurts to see her call him her 'sweet boy', 'comfort person' and bunch of other coupley bullshit. I've seen the way he treats her, all of it is a lie, it's just nothing but a big fat fucking lie!
suddenly I somehow found myself calling Mads
"Hey Y/n/n, what's up"
"Hey Mads" I said rather timidly in way
"You okay?" I sighed deeply
"No Mads I'm not"
"what happened babe?" she questioned sympathetically "You know you can tell me anything, I assume- I mean at least I hope that's why you called me." "Obviously somethings up and I wanna know about it because you're my best friend and you're important to me"
"not as important as him apparently" I mumbled
"what was that?"
"oh uh nothing"
"Y/n what's up with you dude this isn't like you at all"
"I- you know what? fuck it. Madison I love you and if you didn't have a boyfriend I would've asked you to be more than friends forever ago and well I don't know it would depend on you"
"Y/n I don't have a boyfriend. Not anymore at least. Nick and I did date but after that it was just a publicity stunt, I broke up with him originally because I wanted you, I wanted to be with you and you know what, give me 10 minutes this is something I have to say to your face."
"I- okay I guess" with that she hung up right away and just about exactly five minutes later there was a knock on your door. you swung the door open to reveal the gorgeous brunette girl you were so in love with. without saying a word she did something I never thought she'd do. she grabbed my face and pulled me in for a passionate kiss, [hesitantly] kissing back I put my hands on her waist and deepened the kiss as butterflies began to swarm in my stomach. after a bit we stopped kissing and I hugged her tightly and she jumped up into my arms we let go and I put her down
"oh I am SO glad you called me" she said making me giggle slightly
"Mads, you're mine now and I don't plan on changing that"
"I am more than okay with that, being your girlfriend sounds like heaven babe"
"awee, my sweet girl, I love you."
"So what do you think about some cuddles on the couch and we can watch Haikyuu because I know you love it."
