It's been 3 years since I was adopted and life was going great, until we had to move to Italy for Sarah's job.
We were going to have to live at a military base. So there I was, in the airport waiting for our flight.
Fraser had dyed his hair, except for his roots, blonde. I had green tips.
She's wearing this:
Fraser had one headphone in his ear and I Had the other in mine.He started playing with a chain that was hanging. He started yelling at Sarah about something but I wasn't paying attention.
"Mom, I'm thirsty." Fraser said. "Ya, me too." I agreed taking my earbud out.
Maggie grabbed her water and held it out to us.
I glanced at Fraser as I sign that I wanted something stronger."I saw you slip that bottle in your bag." I smirked. She pulled out a little bottle and handed it to him. "2 sips each."
"Thank you mommy." Fraser said before taking a third sip. He handed it to me and I drank along the way finishing off the small bottle.
We were about to walk through the doors when Fraser started taking off his hoodie with severe struggle.
I kicked a wall randomly not listening to what they were saying. We walked in and saw a lady with dark skin and dark hair greeting us.
Her name was Jennifer. "And you must be, Fraser and felicity. And is this, Maggie?" They continued talking as I followed Fraser around.
We walked out to the car in silence. I sat across from Fraser, an earbud in each our ears. "Fraser, licity, Jenny asked what grade your in." Sarah informed.
"Freshman." We said in unison. "No way, my daughter Caitlins a freshman, and Danny he's in 11th grade." She kept up her smile.
"What are there zodiac signs?" Fraser had been obsessed with astrology lately. "He's a libra."
I started playing with my necklace. "Uncommitted, inclusive, invasive." We both put our earbuds back in. Sarah touched his hair, something he hated anyone but me doing.
"The base is a stone throw away from the sea, we're actually gonna-" blah blah blah. I stopped paying attention.
"What about Caitlin?" Fraser said. "Sorry?"
"What sign is Caitlin?" He clarified. "Aries. Is that any better?"
"Depends on her rising sign." The girl looked annoyed. "Here we are, that's the house." We got out and she said hello to someone in Italian.
I only knew a little. "This is the cutest place on the base, doesn't it look so New York?" I went and sat on the couch next to Fraser.
"This'll be fun, right?" I rolled my eyes. "Come on lic, we'll just get drunk and stuff, it shouldn't be that hard to find some alcohol." I smiled a bit.
