And so I had to rewrite this because I, the stupid one, did not bloody save this chapter. FML...

Shay's P. O. V.

I woke up in the hospital wing. The first thing I realized was my leg was fully healed. I looked to my left. I was placed next to my Thomas. He looked so peaceful.

I heard soft snores. My little Nike was sleeping on my stomach. My brother was fast asleep on a chair next to me. I looked at the time. 3:47 am. Explains why everybody is sleeping. I closed my eyes and let sleep takeover. My body is stubborn as fuck. Sleep happens to be one of the first few words in my dictionary but I can't sleep right now.

I moved a little causing Nike to wake up and run on me like I'm a freaking road but she is so cute, I can't be mad at her. She barked and licked my face. My brother woke up.

"Who? Where? What? Huh? Shay?" He mumbled.

"I'm awake!"

He enveloped me in a hug, "I thought you would never wake up! Do you need anything? Water? Food? Nurse? Marshmallow? I was so worried. You stopped breathing and I thought you were gone and your leg and... Nike was crying and my head hurts. I'm so glad you're back!" He said. I did not understand what he was saying because it sounded like ,'I thought you would wever wake ups. Do you need anythang? Wawer? Foo? Nluse? Marshlallow!" You get my point.

"Look Howie, I'm fine." I said with a smile

"I know you look fine but is your leg fine? Chris told me it was infected because the goon who bit you had raw meat that was rotten for dinner."

I blinked a couple of times, "So... how long was I out?"

"2 weeks, 5 days, 19 hours, 47 minutes, 34 seconds."

Is he serious right now?

"Just kidding, baby sis. You've been out for 2 weeks. "

Then it hit me, "How long were you here?"

"About 3 weeks."

"What about your pack, Kili, Kelly and Niki?"

"Niki's here with the kids and the pack is in good hands. Dad took over for a while. I decided to stay off Alpha duties for a while. It's really tiring."

"I feel ya bro," I said, "So where's mom and dad?"

"They visited in the afternoon. They'll be back tomorrow morning."

"Oh... but it is morning..."

He gave me the signature 'are-you-serious?' look. I gave him an innocent.

"Ahehe... hug?" I said innocently. He chuckled and hugged me.

"C'mon, go back to sleep, little one."

"But I slept for so long already."

"Trust me... the medication the nurse gave you is strong as eff. If you don't sleep now you'd probably pass out tomorrow." My brother said.

He tucked me and Nike in bed and placed a kiss on my forehead. Then he walked out. I got out of bed and walked over to Thomas. His face wasn't so swollen anymore, there were lesser wounds and his legs still looked burnt. I let a tear slide down my eye.

"Oh... Tommy... what did they do to you?" I whispered. I kissed his nose and walked back to my bed. I hugged Nike and cried myself to sleep.

I woke up to Nike's stomach on my face. Yes, she slept on my face. I pulled her off my face and got up. My brother, parents, niece, nephew and sister-in-law walked in. My mom had pancakes, fruits and a thermos flask.

"Morning, baby!" She greeted.

"Mommy!" I went in for a hug. Kili and Kelly climbed onto my bed and hugged me. I missed them so much.

"Aunt Shay! We missed you so so much!" Kelly said.

"We didn't like seeing daddy, mommy, gwanny and gwamps sad..." Kili said. I gave them a bear hug. This two were so cute.

"I don't like seeing you all sad too..."

They smiled. Their eyes averted from me as they heard a whimper. I look back. Nike was awake and she's hungry.

"Oooh... is that your poopy?" Kelly asked.

"It's puppy, Kelly!" Kili said.

"I like poopy more..." Kelly said. I laughed.

"Yes it's my puppy. Your daddy got it for me."

"Daddy! Can we have a puppy?" Kili asked.

"If you eat your veges then maybe I'll get you both a puppy each."

"I'm going to eat my veges from today obwards!" Kelly said. We all laughed. Nike barked and whimpered again.

"I got food for Nike," Howie held up Nike's food. She jumped on my lap and wagged her tail. Howard chuckled and put the food on the floor. She jumped off me and ate the food. My mom placed the pancakes, fruits and a cup of milk on the foldable table.

"Thank you, mummy!"
